I really liked Alfred investigating on his own. (But LOL at this ex army medic getting upset about a stolen serving tray, it's so weirdly cute.) He's my favorite character and also I really like it when he gets to wear something other than the plain old butler uniform, like the plainclothes outfit is really nice. The personal links between Alfred and Penguin were great too! I want to see that more often, interactions between Alfred and the villains that aren't just "Alfred helping Batman".
The Batman was always underrated. While yes it isn't as memorable as BTAS or TNBA it has its moments that make you love this series. The Kabuki Twins were always cool to see.
Last time I forgot to compliment the shows artstyle unique among DC cartoons, courtesy of the head character designer Jeff Matsuda who previously worked on "Jackie Chan Adventures" and later on "Hulk vs.".
@@dcenthusiast Definitely, a major highlight of the series is always when Batman goes fist to fist with his enemies (Especially when he fights The Joker).
I feel this animated series is very underrated I like it a lot, while Kevin Conroy’s animated series has a great cast of voice actors this one isn’t bad, has a good well rounded story, music , characters & ends on a good note in just 5 seasons. & I love how year one Batman these episodes feel so far even tho Bruce is like in his 2nd year of Batman with the cops chasing him and him fighting these villains for the first time really, like he just met penguin lol love it
The design of Batman's suit is one of my favorites, along with Justice League and Batman Beyond. As for the Penguin its cool how despite his frame he's apears to be an excellent martial artist, and his Kabuki Twins are highly underrated, I'm surprised they haven't reappeared in later DC media.
this is one of those underrated shows that deserves more credit, I blame the pacing of the series, not to mentin the child censorship they incorporated. But the show predicted many aspects.. - tablet pc/iPhone (Bruces phone) - Cloud computers (Batwave) Soundtrack is nice but he reuse tires, Shirley walker did well to diversify the batman: TAS theme..

One of my top fav versions of Penguin! Voiced by the great Tom Kenny, he really nailed it.
He's best known as SpongeBob
Always loved how The Penguin and The Joker can kick some ass in this show.
Their fighting styles are interesting and unique.
A pack of 1s enclosed within a single 100 dollar bill. The illusion of wealth.
Tom Kenny, the famous voice for Spongebob, voices Penguin in The Batman!

The art style is really unique. It really stands out in action sequences.

I REALLY like that Alfred got to have his own personal stakes and grudge against one of Batman's villains, and Penguin fits the needs for that to a T.

The Voice acting is really good on this show. This show is definitely underrated.
You are making me really appreciate this show think about a DVD of the third season. Great reaction and review

The Kabuki Twins are awesome! They made a great first impression in this episode.
@@dcenthusiast And it won't be the last we'll see of them.
1:46-2:45: God this shows opening is beautiful, on par with "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Batman Beyond".
One think unique about this show is how EVERYONE seems to know Karate.
10:51 I’d go with Lady Deathstrike hands.
Those anchovies look awfully like pepperoni

This show deserves more credit for sure.
