Would you sell to a third party farmer for the stems ? There is major market in the fabric industry. New technology for adding hemp pulp&fibers to cardboard and papers.
So those are hemp plants but why do they look like Marijuana? I thought the plants were all THC and they extract hemp from the Marijuana plants? I guess I was wrong lol.
Nope. the genetics are bred to be high in CBD and very low in THC. Same plant, different cannabinoids. Kind of like a yorkie and pitbull. both dogs, but bred for different things.
Wondering if anyone can direct me to a good place for Texas hemp farming? Currently we have a 600 acre ranch with 400 acres of farmable areas that we have usually grown wheat in for the cows we hold on the ranch. We’ve dabbled in being the middle man for hemp producers and sellers but are looking to pull the trigger on becoming a full on producer. Any helpful links or areas for research would be appreciated
Can anyone help me? I just took over an organic operation that had the last manager take off unexpectedly. We have 300 plants that’ve been drying in a pole barn for 4 weeks. We started bucking them down assuming theyre dry enough but we left some in a container overnight with a humidity detector. It read like 75% the next day. Is that too high? Wont mold grow at that rate? Considering we’re gonna turn it into rosin, whats the safe moisture content before the curing process can start and it can be pressed? Much thanks in advance
Hi guys, could share with me what's the benefit of CBD oil? because my country banned that related to any about this plant. Hope you guys share more information.
Hemp is just a cleaner name for weed tbh. These guys are in it for the CBD oil, which they extract from the same stuff that people smoke recreationally. So this field is gonna smell yes. There are hemp plants genetics that other farmers use for the hemp fibers (to make t-shirts etc.), those fields don't stink. Not sure if they don't stink at all, but they will definately stink less.
Very helpful, thank you, Dustin.
Greetings from Zimbabwe!

Sorry for the late response. Should be less than 12% moisture to extract oil and store safe from mold.

Thanks! We use both synthetic and organic. But you could use either.
@@FarmerTomsHempCompany Why spray the plant? Shouldn't you only from the roots? Nature never fertilizes from above.
@@holyshit1916 Foliar feeding helps the biology of the plant. Roots as well of course.
Never received the free guide. :(

And how many times we will give water to the hemp plants?
Install misters at the bottom sides of each row to water at the twist of a water hose. Where do you get seeds from?
How many LBs an acre did ya get ?
2000-2500
Sir, I heard about hemp plant has male and female plants so which plant is most beneficial for farmer , which is good for taking seeds and oil?
The female definitely.
Males don't produce seeds, they produce pollen
Tegridy farms...
where can i get high cbd hemp seeds? do u sell?
Most cannabis seed suppliers have some high CBD strains on offer but their prices would be prohibitive on that sort of scale.
I can get you seed if your haven’t gotten any yet!
@@Buddha_Approved Sure is it high cbd hemp seed? lemme know details
Why do they remove the male plants
male plants have pollen sacks and will fertilize the females which then produce seeds instead of oil. We want CBD oil to extract.
