Sadly you can't. Harmonyos is still available only for Chinese versions of Huawei phones.

Yes, if you have installed GMS before the upgrade everything will work after update to harmony os.

Sadly you can't harmony os is only for China models.

I'm getting mixed information. Some people say with the international models you can get HarmonyOS now. Do you know what the current situation is? I would like to buy a P20 from eBay in my country (USA) if I know I can get Harmony OS 3.0 on it.
It’s possible. But you should flash the OS to Chinese domestic version. P30 is kind of old that may not be able to run the de- androided HMS 5.0

You can't switch regions sorry. But you can try to update through the recovery.

Probably you missed beta entrance period. Try searching in My huawei app for service and from there find update button.

Sadly your phone model is not Chinese version. Harmony OS is only available for Chinese versions for now.
