I run 40:1 in my 07 and it still shoots premix splurg out of the exhaust. I’m assuming my power valve is full of that stuff?

That is bad news at 8 hours cleaning and having to remove the jug. I raced my 89’ and did a top end event 6 months and the big had full throttle and never had a power valve issue. Of course it did have a bit more power but I thought it was the new piston and rings and not so much the power valve. So that being said I ran about 60 hours in between pistons so it did run very well. I think Honda just wants to sell parts honestly. I’m gonna clean mine and polish it so nice that it will take a while to stick. I’ll make that surface as smooth as a babies butt

Dayum, every 7hrs (acc to owners manual) Honda expects you to pull the bike apart to clean the power valves---ugh, what a p.i.t.a. deal...

What do you think of sea foam for keeping the power valve and carb clean.

Richard Stremlow I know it’s an ok automotive product (maybe for a lawnmower) but I would never use it or recommend it for a motorcycle. It’s a much better idea to pull your top-end apart to clean it rather than use a chemical like sea foam on it.

Tommy Ady Thank you for your advice. I wanted to know if it could work as a cleaning agent. Sounds like it won’t do much at all.

They didn't even show the inside of the cylinder well when assembly
