I made this coffee this morning and I let me say I am NOT disappointed. I have tried a ton of different recipes and this is by far my favorite. It will definitely be a go to for me when I am craving an iced coffee. I highly recommend you try it. Also thank you so much for sharing this recipe and making the video so easy to follow. I have had my machine for about four year and only used it for hot coffee and hot tea. I watched your video and made my first cold brew. It was delicious.
I enjoyed your video. I have had a Ninja Coffee Maker since they came out. Wore one and bought another one. They are wonderful! My problem is the ratio to water, i.e., for a 20oz cup, how many tsp to use. I read use 5 Tbsp but that is too strong and 4 is not enough. Maybe you can help me figure it out. Thanks and love from 🥵 100° heat here in Charleston SC😊
Thanks for the video! Curious though, why brew it hot when there is a cold brew option? I know you explained not doing the over ice setting but just figured it would water it down by using hot coffee. Thanks!
I used the over ice option because I feel like it gives a bigger caffeine yield out of a smaller amount of coffee since the higher heat extracts more coffee from less beans in a shorter period of time. The cold brew, to get the same strength coffee it takes more beans and also more time, the difference in the acidity and taste is very unnoticeable.
@@justaddmusclecom I notice it only brewed less than 1/4 carafe when done, even though you set it to 1/2 carafe. Does it always do that, or was there not enough water in the reservoir to start?
Where can I find the coffee filters? Tried to make my iced coffee for the first time and had grounds in it. Maybe the tupe of coffee? Any tips? Thanks in advanced
When I make mine the ice melts soooo fast bc the coffee is hot is that why you added the milk and creamer first so it stays a bit more cooler? Is this supposed to happen? Maybe you said and I’m sorry My speakers are dead so I cannot hear :(

Come back to this recipe every summer. Could not find the Kirkland vanilla soy milk (May 2024) but subbed vanilla almond milk.

It always does that because its supposed to be brewed over Ice and it takes that into consideration.
Check the califia oat barista with cinnamon dolce syrup, thanks for sharing and i will use the paper filter too

You can just use regular paper coffee filters from any grocery stores, thats what we use and works great.

Yeah the creamer helps keep it from melting as fast
if you make coffee icecubes it doesnt water your coffee down i do it all the time

The other ninja that we had the ninja bar we can make a pot in the plastic container this machine now the newest one you can't do that correct
This can make a carafe size too, actually bigger than the other ninja.

Yes. Iced coffee is hot coffee poured over ice. I rhink the over ice option is a strength thing. Cold brew is brewed cold.
