Took just 10 days from the idea to cover the songs to this completed recording. The recording itself took less than 2 hours - the time limit they had to borrow the corner of that pub in Brighton. Shout out to Kai on bass, and the backing singers Sylvia Mwenze and Scarlett Fae - great job !
I can definitely see Ren doing a version of No Quarter--mystical sounding, Lord of the Rings references (sort of), lots of musical changes. Has REN written all over it.
Ren and his mates in the corner of a local pub, effortlessly knocks off a cover of a very recent pop hit, then a brilliant cover of the Police from a thousand years ago. Looking good as well Rosalie, great reaction as always.

I had the amazing pleasure of seeing romain axisa from the big push last week in Brighton. His support act was Scarlet Fea one of the backing singers on this track. Beleive me when I say that she is one to watch out for Her voice is sensational! Had a few days in Brighton and did a bit of a tour of the locations for some of Ren's videos. It was an amazing experience. Everyone at romaims gig were super friendly. Scartel herself spoke to us and gave us a hug. 😊 romain also so friendly and I even spoke to Goran from the big push who was in audience. I can't tell you how those in rens circle are all just so kind and caring. This track gives me chills and now I've met scarlet makes me feel I was in the presence of super talented, very special people. It was just a shame Ren wasn't there. 😮
You just missed him, his Instagram post this morning said he was back in Britain. I imagine you know that though. Cool you got to check out part of the band with friends. 😊
We will see Scarlett, Ruby J, Romaine, Ren and Chinchilla in a couple of weeks time at The Secret Garden Party. Plus...Knox Hill and RikaShae. Woop, woop. 💕
Watching from Manchester, England, loved this reaction Rosalie. One of my favourite Ren songs/performances. Love how you feel proud of him, I feel proud of him as well, such a talented and special guy who deserves all his successes. Loved how you broke down the visuals of the video as well, spot on!! X
Loved it and you! 💙💚💜 What I love about Ren is his vision in music as a whole. He knows how to put everything together with amazing detail. He's unafraid to show his many sides; the vulnerable, anger, sadness, sexuality, hypocricy, confidence, ego, humor and social consciousness. His humanity. 😊
🎉🎉🎉 Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. Back on 74 by Jungle video is awesome. Great song faster than Rens wonderful mash up. Dancers really make back on 74 come alive.
Your face was that of a proud family member. Made me smile. Love how Ren is a genius at what he does, while also showing us the throughline of the basics of humanity. -Thank you for sharing your reaction and insights. PS, Yes, 'poignant' is the perfect word and used in the proper context. ❤🌹
Sting would need to approve of Ren using his song and he will want to get paid 💲. Sting is actually taking diddy to court for using parts of his music in the diddy tracks. Wonder how that turned out, 🤔 diddy has some big fines to pay and then some. Ren did it for his fans entertainment, he isn't making any profit from sales. Ren paid a chunk to the Vera Hall family/rep for the rights to use her song in a part of his song "Troubles".
Love how you come across as a "Proud" big sister with Ren! Lol As with alot of us RENegades we too feel like family with Ren! That is not only an Honor of mine... but another amazing traight of his making him the Good Person we all know and Love in our own ways!
The location is called Bar Valentino--a 1920's decor--in Brighton I believe. The musical composition evokes soul in my view. I first thought of Soul Train and Midnight Express when I saw this.
Loved your reaction as always ❤️ Ren is the whole package giving us so many layers to his art and a refresh of old songs, as well as his new music! Ren is so diverse❤❤

I love this song so much! I'm seriously so surprised you didn't do this when it came out and it was super hot! I am watching you from East Moline, Il. Much love, Rosalie! ❣️✝️
Wonderful reaction, your joy is infectious & analysis perfect as always. Isn’t this one just a “bloody beauty”, the entire team are just on point. One of my fav’s of Ren’s mash up covers. Lots of love from a very chilly 🥶 Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺❤️
Hello from West Virginia! Loved this cover by Ren it was classy yet laidback. Loved you breaking it down and singing along that was so cool at the end you harmonizing with Ren!
This has to be my favorite Ren song ever even though it's a cover. He has so many originals that are amazing but it's just so soulful and it gives those good goosebumps all the way through. Those looks into the camera at the right times are deadly as well. I really can't help but be that guy, but you look gorgeous. Cheers, always enjoy the reactions.
those ladies who were the backup singers were freakin great!! They were confident with their voices and actions, an at one point you could see ren and them smiling and you can just tell they're all having a great time!
Wow, you have a great voice, and it mixes perfectly with Ren's! I'm hearing a Rosalie/Ren collab in the future! This is one of my favorite recent Ren songs, along with his heart-wrenching Fred Again mashup. Scarlett Fae, the tall singer, has her own music channel that's also worth checking out.
