Just watched the gameplay of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 running at Fidelity mode with uncapped VRR at 40FPS - the graphics fidelity and smoothness of the gameplay were truly impressive!
Just to be clear, you can't really see how smooth it is in a 60fps youtube video, you need to play the game in this mode in a 120hz monitor to really appreciate it, I wish every game came with this option, you keep a good visual quality and it plays smooth.
