Leafy: Hey, announcer, how come we're in space and able to talk, paddle, float, breathe, and not explode?Announcer: Budget cuts.
This piece easily separates those who play with soul and those who are robots. The song is very very very very easy to read, so to make it enjoyable you have to put some heart into it. I never would've thought to play it like this. Great job!!!!
Herzlichen DAnk fürs Posten /Thank You for posting cubusdk und /and GRATULATION
Amazing performance. It literally brought a tear to my eye. Bravo, and thank you.
You have played it better than anyone I have ever heard here on the Tube. You have managed to put the emotional umph that is so missing in other renditons. Great work!
Bravo! Beautifully played, so much emotion and so tender. I am saving this in my favourites.
Stunning, lilting, rhythmic, sublime!!!!!! So many play heavy on the pedal. Magnificent, indeed.
This is the best interpretation of this I have ever heard.
Just right...Thank You!!....
Thank you for the beautiful music!!
music this pure .....well, its timless, words could never do it justice.
Very enjoy the way you play, so beautiful...
20 people need to go bach and rethink disliking this video

Your hands!!!! amazing! Moved by the soul.
beau ti ful! Thanks foro helping me learning this piano piece.
Very good.
Announcer: That clumsy…
... Leafy. Leafy: Hey! Tennis Ball: at least you didn’t call me clumsy announcer.
Beautiful...
@hottyqingwa Actually, this style of music is fantastic. It greatly increases the moody feel... going from meek to bold in a single bar (or 2).
Hoi Oice Cube!
Wha?
Its the Big Dipper, and this star is for you!
Thanks!
thank you, i am terribly sick right now but this relaxed me so much.. =v=
excellente, great, i liked very much- thank you for your playing,
Very nice, thank you .
The only problem i have with this piece is that it doesn't last forever. :(
I can't stop listening to it! well played, and bravo!!! :)
Bravo!!!
Cubus plays this piece the way I want to!
this slow version is good for practice
This reminds me so much of an Ave Maria....I keep waiting for someone to start singing!
inspiring, thx you, wonderful, with soul and it works, i will know want to learn this piece, thougth before, it is ugly but now i know, its wonderful
When i play it, i add a LITTLE touch of sustain pedal to accent the smoothness of the piece and the chords used (since it's building chords with every scale), and as for your question about the right hand being legato in it, it is supposed to be a smooth melody, so yes. However, this is just how i play it. Just because there are certain words to describe it (i.e. legato), doesn't mean you have to be a robot. You are free to interpret it however you wish. That's the beauty of music. You can be
There was no sustain pedal in the baroque era... But feel free to play it however you want. But I think aa competition would shoot you in the head if you would do it like so.
Now, how nice is this? Just beautiful hmmmm
hermosos me recuerda la escuela
Thank you dear JSBach , but this is JUST another version ( transcription ) of GRAUPNER's prelude ; thanks indeed to CUBUSDK for this emotional performance :D
Incorrect
oo good now i can actually know how this sounds cuz i gotta play this song on the piano
Genial
@theazn07 Thanks. I finally figured that out after looking around awhile. Whatever, it's still so beautiful.
@legzandherpiano True, but this piece is sort of meant to be played robotically. I played this to my teacher speeding up some parts and slowing down others, and she gave me a speech saying this was wrong and that I should "color" the piece by altering the volume only, not the speed. I've seen random comments in videos of this piece of people saying their teachers also recommend it to be played as evenly and constantly as possible, but that's so boring!
Nothing is ever meant to be played robotically.
@oldtimeseller Thanks for your response.
Much better than your original version. Well done
lindo !!!!!!!
Absoluto único : CUBUS
Mä vaan tykkään tästä
Onpa hienoa.
"He looked more like a human, whatever that is."
This May sound odd but this music reminds me of the King’s Speech
You're good.
A most sweet lullaby , from Bach ( Graupner ? ) , really what I need NOW :D :D
No, Bach
رائع
Good when somebody plays it a bit differently from everybody else...
Ah, you captured it in v03!
Beautifully done. Although, I agree with MrLedt, a little heavy on the rubatto...
Hey firey it’s a relief that David’s
gone
Yeah
He was weird
Yeah and he look a lot like a human what ever that is
Hey do you want to be friends

hmmmmm niccceeeeeee
@whalenpat44 thats cuz ave maria used this song. superimposed lyrics to the song
Please I would like to know if sustain pedal is used, or legato technique on the right hand
Cubus has a remarkable frasing (frasé in French). This is a 4/4 beat: the accent should be on the beginning of the beat and not two times in the beat.
Kewl...Drama!...I like my fast and lively version but doubt it will be well received?
"Budget cuts."
This piece esily separates
I like this piece very much..
but, I like your [v02] more though..
:)
Au contraire, it's quite short.
@KuraraMachenies
Seen a lot of alien hands, have you?

Why did we sell the piano?
Budget cuts.
Leafy your a human whatever that is
this isn't from johann sebastian bach, but from anna magdalena bach.
Really?
No u dumbass its from Bach's well tempered clavier book no.1. Search it. I personally love no.1 no.2 and no.3 of both the preludes and fugues. They were made for students to practice the techniques of both preludes and fugues and also all keys. (I think) But definitely by Bach. His wife's book was not written by her either. Bach made Anna Magdalena Bach book for her to study the keyboard. Not all the pieces in it are by him either. But most are.

I find the slight pause between measures not in the spirit of the composers intent
No worries, it is
because the regularity of the barocco rythm is not respected
even the most novice of pianists, but if you truly feel what you are playing, no one can ever tell you you're wrong.
Well, unless you're playing the wrong notes or something obvious like that. xD LOL!
4 personas nacieron sin orejas y sin sentido musical alguno
I like the original with even note spacing better - but nice - try
I do not
Too much rubatto ! That is Bach, not Chopin !
*rubato
Nice interpretation, although it doesn't sound like Bach.
