These Clippers, built from 41-47 were beautifully designed. A classic, milestone design. Some Packard enthusiasts may look down on them because of their later designation as an entry level Packard, and finally as a separate brand. But, the design was so beautifully executed that Rolls Royce later based their cars design on this very look in the mid 50's into the 60's.
My parents had a friend who had a '47 two door Clipper. Beautiful blue.i was only 3 or 4 but I remember that car like it was yesterday. Always been my favorite style.
I'm the same age as this Packard and it's in better shape than I am
That car needs an overdrive. I have one for it, rebuilt. Made for the 6 cyl. 110. Solenoid actuated. Hard to find.
Pretty car. Parts are the reason it’s so reasonable.
This is a handsome car with a clean engine/bay.
Great video!
One word.... Beautiful
I'll consider it a real gold mine in my view....owned Packards like them.
No slop in the drive line assembled like a Swiss watch..
Very nice,well designed
Worth every nickel. Prime Mover I may purchase it. Top shelf A caliber Car.
Sweet
Yes I am same age as the car. Thing is though we not had a rebuild, lol
I see this is a 46. Which manufacturer was first to the market after the war? Were there any 45 models?
Hello my grandfather has one but is rusty how much would it cost to get restored
That's something you don't see everyday.
Nice car,,,The exhaust needs to be cut back and tucked under the car...
Hey arnold
Besides the wipers, it appears the fuel gauge doesn't work either.
