Awwwe! You are right. Babies are so much fun. We have seen some surprisingly large Leopard Tortoises before, so be prepared. Thanks for watching the video! We have a hard time remembering to hit the microphone button. So it is pretty hard to listen to. We will get better! Thanks again for your comment.
I’m new . And I have a Sulcata Tortoise . And going to give her Or him a bath tomorrow . I’m so glad I saw this ... but my question is .. what’s in the bucket water and what else ? Thank you in advance .
I am sorry we did not reply! I had not known how to see comments until today! The bucket only has Dawn dishsoap. We use the blue kind because it has zero perfumes and additives.
We put the vaseline on to smother the fungus called "scud". In fact, if we focus on the worse cases, the fungus does go completely away after a few treatments. Thanks so much for asking! I feel bad I did not see the question until now!
@@arncj18, we have used coconut oil and will again in the future but it does not last as long. No harm in Betadine but we try to use it only when the rot has caused deep abrasions. If the "scud" rots too deeply, we will use both, starting with Betadine. Even silver-sulfadine will work well to heal. Thanks so much for seeing the video!
@@CrazyCrittersInc do you do this daily when they have rot? I've done it 10 days. i had somewhat mixed result with Betadine and Silver cream on my RES, i leave her out during the day, and at night i prefer to let her in the water. Cause of stress. what do you recommend the Vaseline might not absorb till night. if i wipe most of it off at the end of the day, will it not contaminate the water if leftovers?
I love the song
Thanks! It is so hard to use free music from UA-cam! SOOO hard! Thanks again! Have a great night!
I am so glad my leopard is only 3inches long I can pick him up with two fingers. They look so beautiful now.

Why putting vaseline after shower?!!

@@CrazyCrittersInc in your opinion would coconut oil do the same? And why not Betadine instead of Vaseline? Thanks
