You know, I'm gonna miss the Sam and Lucifer connection. It's strange. Sam had not one, but two angels on his shoulder. Not just angels, but archangels... Gabriel and Lucifer. There was a connection. Gabriel represented the carefree, fun side of Sam and Lucifer represented Sam's dark side. Even with both archangels gone, he still carries those aspects to himself. By taking control of Lucifer, he embraced and defeated that darkness. Maybe Sam is some kind of god in his own right.
I think Gadreel felt more similar to Sam’s good side character. Gadreel was the guardian of The Garden and was legitimately a being of righteous intent, but he ended up being manipulated and became responsible for all the evil that was released into the world. The weight of that burden feels really similar to Sam’s since he also was manipulated into releasing Lucifer from his cage and into the world as well. They both thought what they were doing was good, only to realize that what they actually did was horribly wrong. Sam and Gadreel; two individuals with a good and a somewhat easily manipulative heart. Well, I guess the saying; “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Is more than just a saying.
@@JekyllOrHyde YES!! That's why I never liked how they killed Gadreel, why couldn't he stay around? Sam and Gadreel were so much alike, they could actully became friend by time. If I have to gibe Sam an Angek as Dean has Cas, before Gabriel I would gave him Gadreel...
That “How did you think this was gonna end” thing is really cool! I’ve noticed they do that sorta thing with Sammy a lot. Have him say similar (the same) things as the bad guy. I mean, back in 2x22 it happened! It was only small, but it’s kinda cool. Jake has like, 3 scenes in the episode. 2 of them with Azazel and the other is the one at the Devils Gate. Azazel starts both his by saying “Howdy Jake” and then when Sam approaches at the Gate, he says the same thing... it’s small, I know, but there’s just something about it that really gets me...
Dude, in one of the first episodes of season one, when Sam and Dean are in the haunted sanitarium, Sam says something along the line "I left because I had a mind of my own" and if I am not wrong this is something Lucifer also says at one point
Noe Brooks probably. Like I said, they do it a lot. It’s really interesting actually. When it’s in a few different episodes, like spaced apart you can kinda believe it might’ve been an accident (which almost makes it more freaky, the fact that they’re naturally writing similar lines for Sam and the bad guy...) but the one I put in my original comment, that was the same episode, they had to have done it on purpose! I love it. 🤷♀️😂

Jip Banaan well In the show Samifer was shown and there is no reason why he won’t be coming back. It hasn’t been “confirmed” exactly but I take what was shown in the show as confirmed.
PearlPoint yeah but Dabb said Lucifer is truly dead when MichaelDean stabbed him. I know Lucifer’s awake in the empty, but I don’t know... I still hope though. (And Samifer was just alternative ending by Chuck, so I’m not sure if that’ll come out. Same way I don’t think Dean’s becoming demon again because of the mark, since Amara is free and all).
