I just finished his course. Yes, it was difficult. Yes, it was good. Yes, I feel like I am a trader now. Do I recommend it? Only if you actually want to change your life. He is not going to give you a secret, scammy indicator trick. He will teach you basically how the markets work, how to take advantage of that process, and how to use logic, practice, skills and observation, as well as continual self-improvement to become better and better at trading. He is as real as it gets, and I admire his approach immensely.

Real recognize real. I love the last few minutes of this video. The art of trading is what I'm after, yes the money sounds good and all but this is a psychological sport and I truly want to be as good as I possibly can at this. I've seen so many videos of people who think they know what their doing. I'm convinced you do know what your doing. I'm inspired please don't stop creating these video. I'm just an average Joe but I'm willing to work hard and be the best I possibly can be at this craft. Thank you again for creating this, it means a lot.

I'm blown away by the value of the information you provide on your channel. When I used to play baseball competitively, my father gave me a book that walked me through the correct way to visualize a pitcher releasing the ball. When I put in the time of deliberate practice of visualizing this, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my hitting. I won various awards and I believe that deliberate practice played a huge role in that success. Listening to your granular explanations, it really shows your passion for trading and coaching. Thank you for sharing.

Wow! I have tried SO many times to describe what you just described (and made look so easy) what trading is like for me and why I so enjoy it (and sometimes hate it). You are one of the very few that speak from a place of mastering this as a skill, and you obviously love assisting others on their journey. So, thank you so much for taking the time to compile these videos for all of us. I am going to check out all of your other offerings, as your style, approach, knowledge and authenticity really resonate with me. THANK YOU!!

Interesting point about the max no. of deliberate practice hours that even the top performers put in every day. Prophet Market said the same thing about how he learned trading: he'd spend hours and hours but that he thinks he could've got the same as long as he spent only a few hours CONSISTENTLY and deliberately.
Good lesson to focus on consistency and quality in the hours instead of clocking up the hours.

I have to watch more than once to really process all the info but I really enjoy discovering and learning about all these professional athletes and how everything ties to trading and psychology. Keep up the great work! There should be more traders like you. I keep reading and seeing on the forums and social media mostly garbage mentality. I'm learning so much from your videos it's changing my perception and dynamic of trading of thinking about trading. Trying to stay humble and not get carried away. Thank you and God bless!

Great video! What definitely stood out most to me compared to other traders I've been following is that you indeed actually focus on how great trading itself is, not just the 'you'll be making tons of money' bs sprinkled in the whole time. There's actual depth and science behind your arguments. Really glad that to have found this channel. Keep it up!

Amazing as always, thank you, Nick!
    Quick question!
If I want to practice my technical analysis, and I'm trading the daily/weekly charts, is it right to go on the 15-minute charts or 5-minute chart to draw trend lines/fibo?
aren't the smaller time frames much more volatile and unstable?
some patterns that happen on the lower time frame won't show on the longer time frame,
and again, really a great video, really interesting topic!

excellent video, I especially like how knowledgeable you are about other stuff outside trading. I have a request: is it possible for us to get a video when ever u get a break in the future to go over turning trading into a business. like what steps are needed to be taken. like getting approved by chambers of commerce. how taxes applies to trading. the types of businesses you can start such as, educational, signals or money managing(my more interesting choice). Also to touch on acquiring funding for that money managing business, the connections we need to build and expectations of investors. I heard that these big guys are content with a +12% annual return..totally do able.
    PS. like the exit music

    • @Duomoinitiative
      @Duomoinitiative  7 років тому

Sure, I can cover that in a future video. The +12% you refer to can't really be compared with the trading you're doing now. That would be based on building a balanced portfolio that manages risk. The intention is to beat the market, not necessarily to maximise returns in isolation. So it's a lot more difficult than it may seem.

I have honestly bounced around many strategies, and came across the Duomo method and team, and my trading has improved dramatically. Furthermore, the usual "loneliness" aspect of it has been diminished through my use of the forum, as other traders, including nicholas, are always happy to help and get involved. (haha i finally think my fib grids are taking shape). relevant to this topic, I have been specifically working on my fib levels, day in day out, and they really are improving as a result, and have come to be one of my favorite tools! SO AGAIN, MANY MANY thanks!

I like your course but the truth is I can't afford it now...maybe later. But my suggestion is this. can you work with some kind of good brokers who you can make interested people to open with and get your courses free while you get paid by the brokers as they grow their account, if you are sure your method will actually grow their account.. Over time you make your money and the people too will also learn while earning..
Just my opinion.. I just wish you can give me a scholarship through your course

Holy crap dude, what you said about the amount of time we can Effectively commit to learning a new task at 10:50 is dead-on accurate and completely describes my experience learning to day trade.
When i first signed up for my online course, i was able to sit and digest massive chunks of educational video. 2-3 hour long lessons with certain sections replayed dozens of times until I physically felt the change in my brain to where i fully grasped what was being said. Ultimately, a 2.5 hour lesson would wind up taking me 4-6 hours to fully complete. Leaving me completely drained & exhausted but also with an indescribable feeling. I'll tell you what else as well; doing things this way, focusing & most importantly being Mentally Present while doing so, let me learn to trade in about 3 weeks time to the point where i was consistently green everyday, BUT emotion & greed pushed me Red (going for home runs & expecting too much of my small position size). Thinking it was an educational issue i have gone back to repeat my entire course, but i'm no longer able to last past 1-2 hours per-sitting now. This is a very interesting little series you've got here. My personal takeaway from this is: There comes a time when you have to get off the how-to's and put in the hours yourself in order to gain the perspective of an experienced trader because there is no amount of information that can take it's place.
That sound accurate to you, or am I completely full of it?
      I'd genuinely like to know.
      Thanks.
