- Hi, I’m Mandy Wildman and I upcycle and restyle preloved clothing for fun and profit.
A pinafore dress or jumper is designed to go over (and under) other layers. A while back I found a sad 90's pinafore dress at a thrift store that had a weirdly low waist and I decided it needed a transformation. Come hang out with me as I show you how easy it is to makeover a discarded garment. :-)

I just discover your channel, and I love it ! Throws me back years ago in Transylvania, when my grand mother used all the resources she could gather ( all pieces of fabrics from previous orders ) and imagination into new projects !!!!!
We still have her monumental, mechanical sewing machine !
Now days my husband is laughing of me as only god knows where do I get all the idea about reusing fabrics 🤫😂

Same thing goes for the shoes : while in university I was working in an italian shoes manufacture ( yep, the leather hand made ) priceless the experience ! Only sky is the limit !
After the WWII most of the eastern european had nothing, yet somehow they made it without polluting the environment ! They were far more considerent and grateful with what they had !
The industrialisation had a lot of positive effects, but a lot of the negative ones !
