Nice. I once reeled in a big lingcod on my kayak and it was freaking out like crazy and i didnt have a knife or bat so i started punching it in the head 😂 related a bit to you having to step on the first halibut
Got a question, going on a friends sail boat this weekend in the north bay. It goes too fast to troll but we will drift. The shallowest it can go is 20 feet. Any tips for location. And if it is even possible to catch one.
As long as you’re drifting enough to get the hearing to spin you should be good. Or you can try catching live bait and drifting with that. Honestly just trying to find a party boats and fish the areas that they are at. Just make sure to give them their space! Tight lines 🎣
very good video and very good job my friend I am a new subscriber here we will be giving you support from Los Angeles one question what is the ramp what if I can know
When we are fishing from up here, we typically fish a different rig. Check out our most recent video where we talk about how we catch halibut from a pier!
I don’t get it while you guys go kayaks out there. I mean, you can’t stand up and go pee if you gotta pee, you know and like it’s easy to tip over and you lose all your crap.
As an experienced and avid nor cal saltwater kayak fisherman it concerns me that you are putting out content that can lead people down a dangerous path. Safety on the water should be #1 priority. Emersion gear (dry suit, wet suit, vhf radio, don't ever wear cotton clothes, and not wearing your pfd at times). As well you are required to have a landing net on board your vessel, rubber coated ones are best as they protect the tails from splitting and creating tail rot on the ones u release. Not trying to bust your balls, but I think u should hold off on creating additional content until u are properly equipped to do so.
Great work! Any day you can bring fish home is a good day!
Absolutely!
The limit of most fish in central cal is aweful. 2 halibut is kinda crazy lmao. 2 reds now too? What an exciting fishing place!
At 5:28 in the video, you promised to tell us your super secret reason why we don't catch as many as we should...
You didn't
Oakley prizms glasses, got mine from tackle warehouse,my favorite
I will check them out!
Oakley, Costa or Maui Jim sunglasses
awesome catches! I was gonna ask what cheaper pedal drive kayaks do you reccomend, and what sixe tranx do you use?
Any kayak from pelican is pretty inexpensive and we use a 300 size tranx!
good tutorial, but wtf is your landing net?
Where’s this launch ramp?

Lmaooo yea we definitely need to get a bat!
What would u suggest to catch striper by pinole-Hercules-rodeo on shore
We like to use three inch swimbaits if we’re going from striped bass I will link the ones we use below!

@@JZFishing thanks
@@JZFishing also if we don’t find any party boats because we will be fishing 1 to 5-6 and other spots? Paradise, angle island, or any other?
@@GabeFishingSF honestly, the Eastbay and Paradise have been on fire
We're you the one taking a leak in the bay off your kayak a few videos ago?

I like your video, but the music is annoying
Thanks for the feedback! We will limit the music!
Lol
I think you need a bigger boat
Aren't you being misleading when you say "catch 10x more Halibut" when the limit is 2 per license? Get real!!!

😂😂😂😂😂
Required to have a net? I only bring my gaff and the game warden never says a word.
I always wear cotton when I kayak. Lots and lots of cotton. It stays wet and heavy for the longest time
16oz in 50ft lol. good luck at Traz with a 16oz or the kayak😂
