Robbie is my son & first of all, I want to say that we BOTH have immense respect for Bob.
Bob immediately, asked Robbie in his first round with him that he acknowledged Robbie just giving in the the pin & asked if he was ok ( class act ) ….
I think it’s clear to everyone that saw video the finals wasn’t a pin ( and that happens in all sports )…. I’m NOT saying with all Bobs experience… he wouldn’t have won…. I just know he wouldn’t have pinned him the way he was trying there…. Robbie was comfortable and was actually
attempting to gas Bob out….
( Like in the finals last year with Cody HAGA ) .

I didn’t think so either, but neither you nor I were eye level with the pin pad like Leonard was. I talked to Robbie afterwards and he was actually ok with it. He knew he was in trouble.

Bob worked for it, but he didnt get that pin, it was given to him. I think he likely would have got it, but you never know, weird shit happens in arm wrestling. This isnt the first time ive seen a bad call from Leonard and I sure it wont be the last.
It's hard, thankless job to be a ref, but that was clear as day. Ive watched this over and over again on .25 speed and my internet refereeing certificate still can't see the pin.
It wasn't even close and the other guy still looked strong.
I love that Bob made sure the kid was okay at the end of their first match, and he didn't injure him when he was out of position. The final call was early, but Bob was likely to pin regardless. It's exciting to see legends like Bob Brown coming back.
