  • The Knepp Rewilding Project, spanning 1400 hectares in West Sussex, is a pioneering initiative that has successfully revived former farmland into a thriving area for wilderness.
As well as being the home to feral cattle, nightingales, and turtle doves, Knepp is home to a breeding population of free-living white storks. With our new partnership with the Knepp Wildland Foundation, Avery & Brown now provides a percentage of our annual revenue to support the Foundation's incredible rewilding efforts.
In this new video, the full Avery & Brown team take a trip to visit the Knepp Rewilding Project and all the wildlife that calls Knepp home.

How fantastic to see parts of Knepp that we don't have access to! It certainly is a magical place. I saw that pig a few days later and it had made another little hollow for itself and one for its piglets in another field. It looked zonked out, but the piglets were feeding despite it seeming to be asleep! I also saw the amazing sight of a fox hauling an eel out of the hammer pond (the video is here on UA-cam). Knepp is always full of wonderful surprises and of course the beautiful storks, which I truly love. I hope your adopted stork does well and that the one wearing your tracking device goes to some interesting places! 🙂 I have been a regular visitor since the first storks bred there during Covid and videod them growing up. Such a wonderful experience! It was so quiet there that year that there were cuckoos flying all over the place and turtle doves could be heard in several places. I hope you have a long and thriving relationship with Knepp.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment, Susan - we really appreciate it! We are delighted with our new partnership with the Knepp Wildland Foundation. We can't wait to see what adventures our stork, Indiana, goes on.
