I had one as my first car back in 2018, and I gotta say, it’s one of the most reliable cars I’ve had. I never got an oil change (I was 18 and didn’t know any better) and it lasted 2 years without any major issues. It would probably still be kicking if it weren’t for an accident. 10/10 would recommend for a first car.
Im also 18 but im rocking the 1.8 5 speed manual its a great car I recieved it from my late grandther. He past away in 2019 but I was gifted the car from him before he died and Im very happy to have recieved it. Its served me through highschool and now college I love this little car.
@@survivalhh2995 I’m 18 as well lmao, currently about to finish my senior year of hs, I have a 1.8 auto and it’s been awesome. I’ve had it for about 4 months and I plan to keep it throughout college. Kinda wish I had the manual though
@@captainsenileinfo it may be your exhaust. It’s been about 3 years or so since I’ve had it but I never remember it being loud. I do remember liking the way it sounded when I stepped on it. It could be a cracked muffler or something along those lines. I barely know anything about cars lol.
Had a 2001 w/ 5 speed. Never stranded me over 170,000 miles, only few minor repairs don't even recall what. Fun to drive, very comfortable, surprising amount of space (took rear seat out for a car-camping road trip w/ a bud, plenty of space) good fuel economy, typ. 35-40 mpg. Sold it to an acquaintance after was quoted $1000 for emissions system repairs & it was getting too rusty, floor starting to go. Sold it to a handy acquaintance who repaired it for next to nothing, was something simple in the fuel tank purge system. He drove it for a few more years, all over the country, many more miles, until a drunk t-boned it (he was ok). Main complaints, needed steering correction in crosswinds, wanted a taller OD for cross-country driving.

I’m gonna get one in less than a month same se trim same color but I think it’s got 180,000 miles. And since it was in a crash it has new parts like bumpers and headlights. Wish I could get a sentra ser those are cool
The two Nissan I own before they were a good drive , I been looking into one of those for a daily, but hoping with snow tires it can withstand Central Oregon winter
Yeah i have a 2004 with only 94k on it love it so far good little car gets me places great on gas too im sure ill get pass the 300k miles on this thing good cars
As someone with the 1.8L 5 speed manual it's a very quiet car. The 1.8s that I have seen are quite louder for some reason no idea why the auto is a bit louder.
