I've seen Shadow people since I was a child.
I've never gotten any sort of creepy feeling.
It's just a glimpse of a person walking down a hall or standing in a room.
Same I think one was just watching me sleep. I woke up and saw him sanding down the hall. He saw me didn't do anything and walked into the my bath room.

Girl, you have a parasite possessing you, it is scared of shadow people and it came out to see it but it wasn't there. Every time the room gets darker, it is the parasite seeing through your eyes or with your eyes.

YES SAME,I'm pretty sure It was just my imagination but...one time I heard someone like a file voice say " chase" it scared me and I've never heard of that name either till now....

I'm going to sound like a nutcase but when I was 11 I had my first argument with my mom. I went to my room and closed the door. I don't share a room so I was absolutely alone. I had sat with my back on the door but in front of me I saw a dark shadow of a man on my wall. He struck so much fear into me but I couldn't scream or move. He didn't have eyes (since it was a shadow) but I could feel him staring at me. He stayed there for two minutes and then disappeared. I was able to move when he disappeared so I ran out of my room and told my mom. She didn't believe me so I just ticked that memory in the back of my mind.
This is SO interesting to me. I have been followed by a shadow man since age 11. He is a dark figure with a hat. Hasn't left me alone since, and the sense of dread and fear I feel when he is near is UNREAL

Blu Jay GIRL. When I was younger I lived in this house that had an unfinished basement and idk why I always had such a weird feeling whenever I would go down but at the same time I felt drawn to it. And every time I'd go downstairs, out of the corner of my eyes I'd see a shadow passing by and it was a man with a hat but it also looked like he was wearing a really long trench coat. I didn't have a bad feeling about the shadow itself, but just the basement as a whole idk. I haven't seen him since I moved out of the house when I was 9 and now I'm 20. But I do think about it often.
Haylee Calloway I've researched the hat man shadow myself, but all the stories I've read on him are that he's actually not a bad entity. They say his family died in a fire and he's the only one who made it out so he likes to be around families because he's lonely and wants his family back. BUT since he is a friendly/harmless spirit, it's easy for bad or demonic spirits to take him over and use him for evil. Could be a different shadow though, idk. :s like I said, I never felt uneasy around him or anything.
satan's wifi I have read that story true, but it's not the case. He was originally a good guy, he died (obviously) and his soul was taken over, by as you said, a demon, so I would watch out even though you don't feel uncomfortable around him, he is tricking you, be careful 😄😫
I’ve been followed around by a shadow man for as long as I can remember. Literally from my oldest memories and from stories told to me about me when I was younger by my parents. He’s never touched me that I can remember, but he always watches me, mainly at night. He’ll stand in the doorway or, if the door is closed, in corners or standing over me while I’m laying down. I do have another spirit that shows up when I have episodes of sleep paralysis, so whenever I wake up with bruises I don’t know if it’s from her or the shadow man. Whenever I wake up from a sleep paralysis episode, he’s always standing next to me staring down at me, so I don’t know if he’s causing it or waking me up from it. He’s very tall, I can’t really make out any features other then reddish purple eyes, very lanky, and a thin angular face. Very rarely, I catch glimpses of him during the day, but it’s been happening a bit more recently. Watching from under trees in their shadows, in the corners of rooms while I’m with people. No one else ever sees him either. He’s never spoken or anything, but on the rare occasions I speak to him he’ll give me a look like he understands what I’m saying. When I’m home alone (my fiancé works all day and so I’m home by myself for most of the day) I can always feel him watching me, even if I don’t necessarily see him. I’m not sure if he’s a negative influence or if he’s protecting me, but no matter what he’s always watching me. Does anyone know what he’s following me for?

Have you ever called on Jesus during your sleep paralysis or tried to throw a punch/fight back? Doing that seems to pull me out quick.

Last night I was sitting on my couch while my head was resting on the head rest part and something pushed the couch in or it felt like a tv remote fell or something when I opened my eyes nothing was there. I pulled my whole couch out because I thought maybe it was a fucking mouse and nope. Never found anything at all. I’m still low key terrified because I don’t know if my brain was playing tricks on me or what the hell it was. I do not want it to be night time and I’m dreading going to sleep tonight.

I also see them. If they are disturbing you just tell them to go away. But one thing you shouldn’t do is try them. I mean never say “you won’t do anything to me” because they could actually try to do something to could also just ignore them too.

when I was a child, around 6 years old, a shadow being would stand by my room's door. It would just stand there, staring at me.....it would paralyze me with fear. I couldn't even scream for help. I would stay up all night until the night would get clearer and it would disappear. We moved to a different country and eventually I would forget about the shadow being.
until one time when I was 16.
I woke up with sleep paralysis. The first time I had ever experienced this so I was freaking out. My bed was placed against a wall, so naturally if facing upwards, nothing could reach me from that side.....or so I thought. I was staring into the ceiling hoping to move any part of my body when suddenly, from my left side *where the wall is* a silhouette darker than my unlit bedroom, emerged head first and examined me with curious intent. Very slow and calculated motions. It had no features, just black, but somehow I knew it was studying me. i was in panic.
One more would then emerge from my right, and as my heart raced, yet another appeared above my extended legs. The fear I felt was indescribable. I thought something horrible was about to happen.
Minutes later i finally was able to move. I was unharmed. I was not threatened either.
I have always wondered what these things are. I have had sleep paralysis several times after, but I have never seen a shadow being again.
I think sleep paralysis is deffinitly connected at least it was for me when i saw them

Lmao guardians... If they cause some sort of fear, I can guarantee you, they're not good.
And yes I have seen them before, at the corner of my eye or staring at one, even saw one in the living room, in daylight, where my cousin and brothers had negative paranormal experiences. And they bring the sensation of fear, they are not good entities.
My brother heard growling and felt as if he was being watched. Take note he slept in the living room with my other brothers. He woke up my other brothers and asked them to pray for him because he wasn't feeling good. And as soon as they finished the prayer with a amen, a wind went OUTSIDE the window, not wind blowing from outside inside, but wind exiting the window, since they saw our curtain flow that way. So, the wind was coming from inside our house and blew outside. A spirit exiting the room/house. There was no air conditioning or anything. He said the room felt peaceful again.
My cousin, who had to live with us for a while slept in the same spot and claimed he heard footsteps and laughter, which put him at edge. He thought it was my brother pulling a prank on him but when he asked him the next morning my brother told him he did not do that. My brother isn't the one to pull those kind of pranks because it was the same brother who heard and felt something in that same spot, in the same room years ago.
I've seen things, felt things and heard things in this house, and whether it be shadow people, let me tell you, these entities are not your friends.
If spirits were here long before us, then let me say this, whether you believe in the bible or not, it holds some history. And believe it or not, it talks about spirits. It says to beware familiar spirits. When I read that passage, I automatically thought ghosts. Supposed people who have died and haven't moved on. Whether you believe in the bible or not, but believe in the paranormal, I don't think that should stop you from this warning.

And also, just because they don't touch you does not mean they are not demons. Demons harass and scare you in different ways, it doesn't always have to be physical. Seeing a dark shadowy figure in the corner of the room.or at the feet or your bed would scare the living daylights of most people, and that's what demons feed off of, fear. They don't have to hurt you. They just have to make you uneasy, uncomfortable, and scared. You can't rule it out being a demon. But I know people will believe differently. But spirits are intelligent, they can lie. Just like the Ouija board story, when it lied about being her friends grandmother and it actually being a demonic entity.
I once stared one dead in the face and waited for them to leave and I got up and checked my hallway and they were gone. At no moment I felt fear but my sister in the next room saw him 2 and felt fear so I think it depends on who you are not really if the shadow person is a bad or good being
I (hopefully kindly) disagree... I’m going to sort of get into religion, but god does say in the Bible to in a way fear his power if you get what I’m saying. He is a positive “being” alsoooo let’s say that you see an angel (maybe your guardian angel idk) in your room or when you die... I would be scared at least at first because they are unknown beings
In the Bible, all accounts of people witnessing angels say they experience fear. But angels usually talk to you. My brother saw an angel, the house disappeared and an orb of bright white light appeared in its place and said something along the lines of "(brothers name) do not be afraid, for He is with you" Angels appear as bright light but shadow people are the opposite they are the absence of light which is why even in a pitch black room you can still see them

( I had conjunctivitis but didn't know )
I woke up at exactly 3 am and saw a shadow of my dad ( he always kisses me goodnight and he always waits for my mum to first and folds his arms on top of my balcony bed) he was doing the same position ! ( I saw this once I got my vision ( because I had conjunctivitis) I whispered his name in question and he held out his hand . I blinked and he was gone ! The following morning I asked him about it and he said he saw me doing the same thing on the edge of his bed at the exact same time !!!!!

From 1st and 2nd hand accounts I'd like to add the following about shadow people:
- They can be summoned.
- They grow over time, child to adult size.
- They will avoid being hit by thrown objects.
- They mess with dogs, chase but never catch.

I never knew that they can be summoned or that they grow over time either. When I saw the shadow man, it happened at my sister's house. It was late but I was wide awake watching some movie on cable. I was alone with my nieces and nephews, as I was babysitting. I heard the floor creaking and just assumed that it was one of the kids. I looked up and it was a dark shadow man standing in the doorway. I saw him but thought he didn't see me until he looked at me. His eyes were red and he was wearing a hat. He scared me so much I was shell shocked. Then he turned towards my niece's room and disappeared. I went to make sure that the kids were all fine. Then I remembered how my niece Heavenly refuses to sleep in her bedroom. I think that she saw him and it scared her as she was only 3 years old at the time. I'm still not sure what these shadow people want or what they are? Do you have any ideas?
@@lynsay31 OMG you saw the Hat Man!? Sorry for the late reply. Hat Man is unlike any other shadow people. From eye witness accounts he visits mean children and near death survivors. Often seen by adults and children during the same visit, like yours. One near death survivor even said it spoke to him, saying something like 'I almost had you.' My nephew got a visit after committing animal abuse as a child, that fixed him real quick. There are many accounts of the Hat Man if you search. I'd recommend listening to Coast to Coast AM archives for more information and encounters. That's how I finally put a name to what I saw when I was a teen. If you ask your niece about the time you saw him she may very well confess to seeing him too or just go quite and avoid the subject. I can only imagine how terrifying that was, but on a positive note I've never heard of reoccurring encounters with Hat Man, unlike other shadow people. Kind of a one and done thing. I hope you never see him again.

I saw a shadow person, it was in the middle of the night and I was playing games on my phone, when in my referral vision I saw this figure looking at me from behind my door, but every time I looked without using my referral vision the thing was not there, but when I went back to playing on my phone the thing kept coming back and looking at me.

I know this is an old video, but I just thought I would give my theories on shadow people. Because of the fact that most shadow people seem to be "harmless" I feel that they could be entities of the darkness that vibrate at a low vibration, low enough that we can see them. With that being said, I don't mean that they are "evil" or "malicious". Not every being from the darkness is that way necessarily. I feel that these beings are possibly curious about us, so they visit us and observe us in the night. I feel that most of them don't have ill intentions, but of course there may be some that do. I believe so too. I have seen one for the first time when I was 10 years old and i thought it was my brother but wasn't. I told him goodnight while he was sitting at my mom couch and stared at me . And i said it again so he suddenly stand up look at me and walk toward the back door but he walk through it! Thats when I realize he wasn't my brother and I cry all night. ... so i have seen these black shadow people still to this day once in a blue moon though but i felt no neg vibes or whatsoever. Last one I have seen 2 weeks ago. I woke at 6am and got up and saw a tall Male figure by my husband staring at me and I stared back for 1 min then I walk out of bedroom to check on my daughter and walk back in to my bedroom and he was still standing there and I wasn't scare maybe because I'm so used to it. Long story....... so I look at him. staring competition lol. But I felt nothing neg so I ignored him and lie back to my bed.

I am not kidding you Reece's Peices, but I have a large window in my living room facing our courtyard and I keep seeing little children running up to the door but when I look properly there's nobody there. My house was built in the 70s, so it's only forty years old. I also see shadow people in my room, near our car, behind me, but the creepiest one was when IT SPOKE TO ME! It was muttering 'neighbour is dead' and it had been a week since an old lady with a strong hate agains me had died of old age. I never have gotten over it and it was in April.

To answer your question: YESSS! I would always see small dark shadow figures like crawling on the ground. I thought it was my cats, but when i went to see where they where they where both asleep in a different room. I also always have the chilling feeling like something is right behind me, but there is nothing!...
Also, I really hope you read this, because I don't know what to think about this story: I was watching youtube from my tv, when all of a sudden my tv started lagging and glitching. Then I heard voices, At first I thought there was someone outside my house, but then I clearly heard my moms voice say "Gracielou!" (its what she calls me) and then "Oh Hi boys!" (referring to my cats) It was faint but so loud and clear at the same time. I go check and see if my mom came home early, and called her. She was at work! and I looked outside and no one was there, no cars or anything! I broke down Crying, because of fear, and also because I had the worst feeling that something was going to happen to my mom. It has been about a month or 2 since this happend and she is fine. But I was really freaked out by this experience.

OMG! That's crazy! I have footage of me crying because i was so terrified and didn't know how to feel. I have never really experienced anything "Paranormal" before moving into this house. I know that an old lady died in this house from Cancer, but I don't really believe in life on earth after death (I do believe in demons though, and that they can take form of whatever they want, and manipulate you) But yeah, I made a story time on all my experiences and might make an update one. I also started waking up at 3 AM and having nightmares about Demons, satanic rituals, and voodoo.
I always hear my moms voice and when I ask her if it was her she says no 🙃 I once read on another UA-cam comment section that demons can imitate voices but we can never know.
You should never show fear, it will bother you again. Oh and here is another advice, where i live they say never answer first calls (when someone says your name) but i never answer the first 2 calls, go check before you answer.

When I was little I used to hear family members calling my name at random times, but whenever I looked for them they would either say they didn't call me, or they wouldn't even be in the house at all. One of my earliest memories is of me hearing my Aunt calling me from across the house, following her voice and trying to find her. When I eventually gave up and asked my Grandmother where she was; my Grandmother told me that she had gone home hours ago. I never found out what was calling for me, but it definitely wasn't my Aunt.
I’ve seen them off and on throughout my life. But one I remember in specific detail was when I was about 4. I was laying in my bed asleep, having this intense nightmare about a man hitting me with a bat in a dark room. Needless to say it was already a weird dream to have as a child. But I remember waking up as the man was in mid strike and sat straight up in my bed. I vividly remember seeing the tall shadow figure at the side of my bed reaching out towards me. I screamed freaking bloody murder and my older sister, whose room was across the hall came running in. The figure just faded into nothing a second before she opened then door. I couldn’t even hear what she was saying for about a minute after because my ears were ringing for whatever reason. It took me until I was a teenager to ask my family if they remembered. They did including how pale I was and how I refused to sleep by myself for about a week
I had a shadow person living in a home I rented in Hamilton ontario. I saw him tip toeing in my living room and he froze as though he knew I saw him.
That same shadow person became disturbed when one night at 11 PM I couldn't sleep so I went down to the basement to do some hockey drills with stick and puck. While playing around I suddenly became aware of its presence at the top of the stairs watching me as though I had woken it up. My goose pimples and the chill I got were unbelievable but I wasn't afraid of it.
I actually wondered if I was a resident ghost in its dimension in the same house. That was 5 years ago now. No action since.
Budd Ha that’s a really interesting idea. The thought that we’re actually ghosts to them and they seem to be vice versa for us in certain contexts.

Once I was in my bed sleep paralyzed and when I opened my eyes in the corner of my room were 3 dark shadow like figures... I turn my eyes to look to the door when right in front of my head is another shadow person. I try to scream and move but I can't. I start to feel pressure up against my neck as I scream harder. I feel as if someone is shoving their thumb into where my adams apple would be if I were male. Then I see the shadow person walk back to the other three as they dissapear in to a white light. I know it wasn't my imagination based on the sensations I was feeling, the fact that there was 4 of them and how this went on for seemingly 5 minutes. I now believe in portals and shadow people because of the white light that they went in to. I'm just terrified to sleep now.

Once i turned off all the lights in my house because I was going to sleep. So as I was standing in front room i felt a sudden chill in the air and a presence behind me and it said,"Hey" I could have sworn that every one in the house was asleep.
Soooo.... the moral of thist story is to always run right after you turn off any light.

I don't exactly know if I can say this is a shadow figure buuuut: when I was a kid I had a nightlight in my room and the way my closet doors were open that night, it left a square of light on my wall. I was staring at the wall and all of a sudden something moved in front of it so the light was blocked. And then one time In my dreams (or sleep paralysis I can't remember which) I was staring at this black shadow figure in front of my closet, and then a car went by (outside the window) and as the light came into my room, once it passed by the figure, it was gone and I woke up. When I was about 7 years old, I had a corner in my room that was always dark. One time, I fell asleep with my light on. I woke up AS my mouth was wide open. I saw a shadow walk out from that corner turning into a tall, large man. I freaked out and just watched as it walked across my room, slowly disappearing... I woke my sister and got her to check my room... Nothing at all. I slept with my mom that night.

I see a shadow person in almost every room I’m in. It’s always a 6 foot tall lady with long hair and a dress to her ankles. Often, if I’m sitting on a chair or a couch thats back is not touching the wall, I feel a strong presence behind me.
I have! I was at my friend's house about 6 years ago, she'd had a party and about 6 people were staying over. I was asleep downstairs by myself and was asleep on the sofa, I woke up to a shadow figure poking their head around the door frame and ducked away when it realised I'd seen it! I didn't feel scared of it just creeped out but went back to sleep.
Next morning one of the people who had slept upstairs in the spare bedroom started to tell my friend the EXACT same story before I'd even mentioned it to anyone, weird!

I am a Muslim and like all other religions we do have our own interpretations and thoughts on the supernatural or what we call ' all khayb ' ( which translates to the unseen ) . We believe that they are actually demons/ jinns ( a jinn is a creature made by Allah the mighty they live in the realm of the unseen which humans are not able to see unless jinns actually show themselves to us . Like people, jinns are good and bad : the bad ones we call demons) .
Muslim or not, I am almost sure that at least each person have once in their life seen a shadow that seemed to disappear as soon as it appeared and I am almost sure that most of us blamed it on our eyes ( I swear I'm legally blind without my glasses lol ) . I remember when I was a kid and saw some shadows dancing at the corners of my eyes I would convince myself it's a trick of light because it seemed logical . I didn't suspect it could be a demon as I was first really young back then and second I was taught that demons came for certain type of people ( those who surround themselves with a dark energy and negative vibes ) . Eventually I came to the conclusion that either some of what I was taught is missing or just sort of wrong I guess because when I was around 8 years old I swear I saw a ghost. Now before I move on to tell you my story about this " ghost ", I will need to explain what a ghost is in Islam or what it is not.
A lot believe that ghosts are spirits of deceased people but that's not the case in Islam. Muslims believe that when a person is dead they stay dead (Call me Sherlock Holmes) . Allah the mighty takes their souls and they don't come back to haunt us or terrorize us thank God. Still a lot people claim to see the dead whether in dreams or even reality sometimes. Which in a way they do. BUT what they are actually seeing is not a spirit or a ' ghost' but an actual jinn taking on the appearance of their companions.
Jinns as I said earlier can show themselves to us ( but not their true form ) they can transform into animals and people ( I am not sure about this one to be honest but I heard that black animals are a sign of the presence of a demon which I honestly think it's a bunch of superstition '-' how is a black cute cat the devil exactly ? )
OKAY now that we got that out of the way time for a story
when I was around 8 years as I said we moved into a new apartment which to this day still gives me the creeps... I don't know how I managed to live there.
So the deal was that my mother found us an apartment in the same building as her office which seemed like a great idea so we decided to buy it and yeah .
I swear as I entered that flat for the first time I got goosebumps. I had this uneasy feeling in my stomach but I blamed it on me eating too much candy that day but now thinking about it I was dreading something bad.
I remember liking the apartment it was spacious and I finally had my own bathroom which for an 8 year old was a lot.
I brushed of that little tinge of negativity and welcomed the big opportunity we got which btw guys let tell you for that much space and luxury it was not expensive at all ( I remember my parents being a bit skeptic about the price of it and doubting that there might have been a plumbing problem that the guy we are buying the apartment from was hiding but we got it checked and it had nothing. it was as good as new, literally everything was perfect or so we thought )
the first night I spent there was the most terrifying night in my life.
I remember that we didn't get the furniture for my room yet so I had to sleep with my mum and little brother in a small guest room which had a small balcony. It was a stormy night and being the light sleeper I was I stayed up because the thunder was too loud. I was staring at the rain falling when the lighting struck and out of nowhere this man all bloody and injured appeared.
I freaked out but stayed silent. I was frozen from fear. He turned to me and looked at me with milky eyes and a scarred face ( even writing this still freaks me out to be honest I am still scared of it and I am 18 now ).
He just stood there and stared at me for what seemed like forever until eventually he jumped out of the balcony. ( we were on the seventh floor so it was a pretty high jump) I didn't even dare to follow to see if he really was real. I just sat there until the morning while my mother and little brother were soundly asleep ( I remember I WAS so terrified to make a noise because I thought he would murder me and my family I barely even breathed )
The next day I told my mother about it and begged her to NOT buy the flat but it was too late and she didn't really believe me. she thought I was ' dreaming' but I knew, I was SURE I was NOT dreaming. Still nobody actually believed me.
Soon enough I got my own room and tried to grow out my fear. I stayed up for so many nights until I just fainted from sheer exhaustion ... eventually I forgot about it and i was able to sleep soundly...
Then it started again... I would wake up in the middle of the night terrified feeling that someone was and still is watching me ( by the way I still to this day do ). The shadows in my room seemed to move sometimes slowly sometimes so fast I could barely seem them and note that as I said before I am far sighted which means I can't even tell which is real and which is not. EVERYTHING WAS BLURRY and it would take me ages to find my way in the dark to either put on my glasses or to turn the lights on. Either way the outcome of it was the same I would stay up until the next morning and sleep in the afternoon.
Guys I was only 8- 10 years old here, my health was going down so fast. I was constantly sick, always throwing up.. my nose is always bleeding out of nowhere ( I was perfectly healthy before we moved in ) and having endless nightmare, I lost all appetite I would go on a whole day not eating unless my parents would force me to ( I became anemic even because I would not eat )
I was a cheerful child before we moved there and I was brave like I watched horror movies with my older cousins and I was almost never scared so for me to be terrified from this I knew it was real still again no one believed me.. No one actually listened until it started affecting them too.
whatever seemed to target me and only me started playing tricks on my family. Things would disappear out nowhere .. they would move from a room to another, doors we leave closed would open on their own while we were away. The bathtub would become dirty out of the freaking blue like someone took a bath in it, someone who was covered in mud and guts, the walls started to rot even though my mum was constantly cleaning and we had no problems with plumbing as I said before and their was this smell ... no matter how much we cleaned it was always there. It smelled like something was rotting... it came from the hall in the apartment... the logical explanation at that time would have been " someone broke into the house " but we live in the freaking seventh floor and we didn't find any signs of forced entry into the apartment .... also many things were left unexplained ....
My mum being a bit superstitious herself and fearful started blasting Quraan through the house as it removes all evil and I remember whenever she did so I would get so angry and irritated out of nowhere... I would start yelling and trying to make it stop. which at the time was a BIG sign we did not see . It was a sign I was being haunted by a demon or at that a demon was living with us.
At this point we have been living there for 6 months there .Until we had enough money and finally MOVED out .
After we moved into a new home I was able to sleep like a normal person.. I became normal again.... Kind of at least : I was not so sad and depressed all the time . I started eating better and being more cheerful and the Quran didn't bother me at all ...
But one thing that didn't stop was the nightmares ( they weren't as bad and as frequent as before so I was able to manage at least a solid six hour sleep and even if I woke up terrified at night I could somehow still go to sleep if that makes sense) ...
Fast forward seven to six years ( 2016- 2017 ) I started looking it up and what I found was actually terrifying.
It turns out that six years before we moved in the apartment, six years before my mum got that job, a woman murdered her boyfriend there. Apparently that guy was cheating on her so she drugged him and slit his throat and then dismembered him. she hid the pieces of him in the fridge and slowly disposed of them by taking out a member at a time in black trash bags to avoid any suspicion. Until he started rotting and the smell became so much that the other neighbors started complaining. Eventually someone reported it but the woman was never caught to this day she run away...I dag in deeper tried to find the names which I am not going to mention for the sake of the family who lost their son ( even though he was a cheating jerk ) and tried to find them on Facebook ... I was actually lucky to find someone who shared the same last name as the victim and contacted in hopes they were related... long story short I asked to see the face of the murdered man and it almost matched the one I saw in the balcony when I was 8 years old. Then it all made sense :what I SAW was a demon that lived there and witnessed the murder... It took on that form to show itself to me in hopes of possessing me ( demons can possess people and they usually prey on children and mentally broken people as they are an easy target ) To this day guys strange things I can not explain happen to me .. I am always seeing shadows at the corner of my eyes .. I am too scared to sleep in the dark most nights even now I feel it watching me...
oh my god I was terrified while reading all this it's so long it's the first time I read that much haha but that was scary as hell how were you able to stay in that house if I were u I'd leave instantly I don't fucking care if I'll end up on the streets it's way better than being haunted or even possessed

Yes, I'm also a muslim, and I had an experience with shadow people.
So, last night I was standing on the rooftop, because my sister had to get something from the roof and she was scared of the dark. I agreed to go with her, and stood on the rooftop staring at the scenery while she looked for what she needed. Suddenly, I saw a black blob on the roof of a building, like it was peeking it's head out, and then it suddenly dissappeared. But that, wasn't the scariest part. Suddenly from the corner of my eye, I saw a FULL shadow person moving around, looking like it was taking something from a closet. There was a white big structure- which was a part of the building, and the shadow person looked as if it was taking something out of it. When I stopped fcousin on it, it appeared still. But when I did focus, it started moving. Suddenly, maybe my mind started to play tricks on me, but the when I focused, the white structure would dissappear like it was just a part of the sky, and all I would see was that shadow, just, standing still. It had no facial features, nothing, no clothes, but I could feel that it knew my presence and was staring right through my soul.
When I told this to my sister, she believed me. But the rest of my family didn't. The whole night I couldn't sleep, and my throat was so dry for some weird reason. I even cried.
So yeah... that was my experience, X(.

I can 100% vouch that shadow people are a thing. I’ve encountered them on multiple occasions.
I used to see them often growing up as a kid and they always emitted negative energy. I even had a vision of one attacking me once, which was the scariest experience. Nowadays, I rarely see them but often feel them and the physical effect are goosebumps. Every once in a blue moon, I would wake up in the middle of the night and see one and it’s also negative. +neu dae I hope you're joking about the physical barrier. Theres a reason why these things are called nonphysical beings. The natural reason people do it is because they are terrified. It's instinct. Using the covers only makes you feel better, because it gives you a sense of "hiding". It's like a really small child playing hide and seek then covering only their heads and not the rest of their body.
I have seen a lot of shadow ppl. I've seen short and tall! I have seen fast and slow shadow ppl. They like to watch us. When they get seen they disappear. They also like to hang out around corners so they can disappear faster.

My friend told me about the time that she saw a shadow person. She thought it was a ghost, it had red eyes and was the silhouette of her dad. She said she was being haunted. She moved away, so I don't know what happened to her.
Edit: She goes to school with me again and it's important to note that her parents are divorced and she really hates her dad. Also this happened to her in third grade. I'll definitely ask her if it comes up, but I'm not that close with her and texting her about it out of the blue is kind of weird.
I have been seeing shadow people my whole life. Especially ever since I’ve been into crystals and astrology. There are particular parts of my house they like to go to; corners,halways,doorframes,etc and they usually just peek there heads out and it triggers my fight or flight response.

There are several instances in my life where I and/or my sisters have seen "shadow people". But I am only going to talk about an experience my second eldest sister had 2 years ago while she was pregnant with her first child.
My sister woke up because she felt her blankets get tugged off of her and she saw someone standing at the foot of her bed. At first, she thought it was our mother and she said, "knock it off" but when she took a closer look at the shadow, she saw bright red eyes; now my sister and I believe that this shadow is called "The Hat Man" and it is said that he allegedly gives ominous warnings. A while later after she saw this apparition she ended up getting hospitalized because she had a ruptured fallopian tube which was causing internal bleeding, thankfully it was caught on time or else she and her baby wouldn't have made it. She never saw "The Hat Man" again but the encounter will stay with her forever.
Since I wasn't the one that experienced this, I can't really portray what my sister felt or saw accurately and it happened a long time ago so there's that. Many of you may not believe and call me a liar but this did happen to her. I remember the day after when she described what happened and how shaken she was. At the time when this happened, she didn't know the name of the shadow until sometime in December 2018 when she grew curious at the memory and looked it up.
One time, I woke up early in the morning, and the moment I opened my eyes I looked directly at a shadow person standing next to me, by the edge of my bed. It looked just like the shadow of a man standing by my bed. This sounds terrifying, and I thought that if something like this ever happened to me, I'd be terrified. But, the presence was actually incredibly comforting. That's how I know it was real - because even when I have tiny hallucinations when I'm tired (like thinking I saw a bug out of the corner my eye) this usually really scares me and even makes me jump sometimes, but this shadow person made me feel *so* at ease and *so* comfortable. I never thought I could feel that way in such a situation, so I know that this was the positive energy coming from the shadow person. I felt like I was waking up to see someone I love looking right back at me first thing in the morning. Pretty odd, actually, and the thought of it now scares me, but at the time I loved how it made me feel.

Mini story time! Between my birth and probably the age of 5-6 I used to live in Mexico. Our house was actually pretty shitty, seeing as how my parents built it in an old plot of land gifted to them by my grandfather upon their marriage. When growing up, my older brother would always tell me that he would be woken up by the feeling that someone was lifting his sock up and tickling the heel of his foot. Although I was very young, I remember this vividly because day upon day my brother would complain to my mom that something was ticking his foot at night. My brother and I used to sleep on the same bed, and this bed has one of those little cover thingies to keep the mosquitoes out, so I thought it weird that I never saw the things that would torment my brother. He used to call them "Sombras" which is Spanish for Shadows. So one night, I wake up in the middle of the night and I see this tall ass shadow standing right by the entrance of our door. I remember feeling pretty freaked out, because I couldn't move while the shadow thing creeped on over to where my brother was sleeping right next to me. The following morning, I told my mom about it and I remember my brother agreeing with me, probably feeling relived that someone else believed him. My mum did not believe us, of course... But strangely enough I dont remember ever seeing the shadow thing ever again. Nor do I remember my brother complaining about it anymore.... I'm not quite sure that this is the 'shadow people' that you talked about in this video, but it did spark a small memory from my childhood

U never want to mess with shadow people I have seen the hat man which is a shadow man and he is very strong he made me not be able to breathe he had a top hat on a long jacket on and he was just a complete shadow I saw him out of the window but now we have a protection bubble around our house now, no ghost or anything can come in our house but when we put the protection bubble around our house a nice lady was in our back yard and she still is at night. All she does is look at u and wonder what ur doing outside at night.

When I was 3 or 4 years old, I would see the same shadow figure, wearing a hat, staring at me in my door way. I was petrified. I would hide under my covers, blink and he would still be there. When I was finally able to get the courage to leave my room, I would get closer to him and he would disappear, and I would go sleep in my parents room. He would follow me there though and stare at me again through their doorway while I tried to sleep on the floor. This happened for quite a while until I got old enough to sleep with my door shut. I always got a terrible feeling from whatever this shadow person was. When I think about it to this day I feel dread in the pit of my stomach and I'm almost 25. I sometimes think about sleeping with the door open to see if he shows up as an experiment, but the thought of that makes me really uncomfortable.

Dude, black eyed kids used to roam my street, my friends and I would see them all the time. This one day they all disappeared but a few days ago my friend's dad and her brother were at the gas station. They saw this old guy with black eyes...even the whites. But there's this thing called the mother and it can take on any form and it has all black eyes. The mother chooses kids and makes them into black eyed kids and that's what my friends and I think that they saw...OH AND THE THING WAS MAKING ARCHES AROUND THEM

My story kinda still freaks me out. I was at my local library as a kid, as I would go there to use the computers a lot of the time. I was in a game, and I kept feeling someone stare at me, whenever I looked over my shoulder or turned to look, nobody was there. That happened for the full two hours. After that day, I never felt that uneasy even when sitting at the computer

I have quite a story about a "shadow" man that I believe has followed down by my mum's side of the family. I'll break it down to my best in chronological order.
When my mum was around 6/7 her and her 4 older sisters all used the ouija board in their house in the living room. During their time using the board my recalls seeing this dark shadow figure of a man going down the stairs and past the hallway. Shortly after that a. bedroom of the house started to have an eerie feeling, things would begin to move around, you'd hear somebody walking around in the room etc.
When the eldest of the sisters (Margaret) moved out into her own home she was around 18 with her boyfriend and first child. That house began to experience a lot, doors would bang, the attic door would break open even with a lock on it, her son gave a name for this man he saw. My cousin said he would get very scared and he was a powerful, nasty man. He would get out of his cot at night by himself, and you'd hear a man's voice coming from the bedroom.
Fast forward to where my mum first moved out, she experienced very similar things. The same kind of feeling around the house and at that moment, all of the activity from my aunty Margaret's house had slowly stopped. My mum said once she was having a nap on the sofa and she got woken up to this man right in her face just screaming at her.
She always felt something following her and when she turned 30 she had me, from a very young age I would see people and things as I still do to this day. I began to experience the same things she was. Things just like in my aunty Margaret's house however it was like this entity just grew stronger. My mum got extremely affected by it a few years ago. When I was around the age of 11, my mum began to experience these terrifying dreams. Every night being woken up by this figure of a man, she experienced sleep paralysis. This man said to her one night "if you don't turn round to me now I will take your daughter or your sister away". My mum never turned around, she told me she just screamed at it to go away.
Shortly months after, my aunty got very sick and was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away when I was 12 and the time just seemed quite convenient considering the dream my mum had.
Now, 7 years later and I'm almost 17. I cannot stop experiencing these dreams from a figure of a man. Every night, I keep having these dreams of children dying through sometimes suicide and sometimes murder. This figure will tell me if it upsets me then I should simply look at him and "that won't happen". Every time I turn to look at him I get woken by this immense pressure on my back, like a burning feeling with a lot of weight. I'm seriously worrying due to what happened with my aunty. My nephew was born on the same exact day she died, half an hour afterwards and I just feel as though there is some kind of link.
I'm sorry for this being so long but I just feel like it should be shared.
what does it want from you? it sounds like it could be a witch or a demon. I can't tell which one. I say witch because the bad ones are known for putting death spells on people(it's called EvilEye).
a) ask God, the LORD of the Bible, to forgive your mother and the others for playing with that ouija board for they were foolish. After that, if you can think of any sins of your own, ask for Him to forgive them. You gotta acknowledge the wronging.
b) find a church. Say the Lord's Prayer every night. Have your family say it too.
c) pray for guidance on what to do, pray for guardian angels to protect the family.
d) get a priest.
3AD lord that reminds me of dreams I have sometimes (I wake up and realise the room is so off in the dream so yeah, dreams) these days I get a bit arrogant and in their faces about it but the good thing is to let them know Jesus is in control. I always sing a song about God if I feel afraid in a dream and they can't really do anything, but they do try to trick me from time to time and when that happens I tell em to show their real self and stop foolin me. I just woke up seconds ago from a dream about these things taking form of dogs, one I recognized as a passed dog and it licked me and pulled out my hair (with a human hand I couldn't see it b/c I was on my belly, too weak to get up- kind of like sleep paralysis but not really more like my bones would hurt if I moved) I felt the sucker's fingers in my hair and it took the hairbow so I was like 'oh great, another one of these dreams again' and it licked me with a long tongue(like a dog's tongue) then I managed to move my head to look at it and it was that dog...I hate it when dreams take form of a pet I love. Another dog showed up- much smaller and started to bark at something above me that I wouldn't look up to see and chased it to a corner(it was floating around) and the two dogs were acting like my protectors and I almost forgot the scary hand part but the thing ended up being a stuffed dog that moved about and it came to my bed and I finally could move. The dogs were talkin 'telepathically' but the stuffed toy wouldn't speak and I demanded it to talk like the other two do- then I said for it to change its form to the real form and stop looking cute. It only said join us and I was like, what, the devil? And it repeated join us and I was like w/e fool but I sang a song about Jesus and some kid shows up to a window and starts talking gibberish about if I knew any kids. I just told it in song, I am Jesus' already. Then I woke up and realised my room was not like the dream's lmao well thank goodness I can tell a dream by surroundings.
It'd suck to experience what you did and 'wake up' in the exact same room... These dreams I consider actual demons visiting me b/c back in the day when I was scared and didn't trust in Jesus, I'd wake up and experience something real and creepy. But this dream has shown me I trust in Jesus more than I like to admit b/c of how easily and calm I would sing in the dream. I don't know if these words can help everyone but I sing something like, "Jesus loves his creation and all in it, God made the world, God made everything." And when I say the last one I totally look in their faces hinting at 'yeah God even made you' which seems to make them mad. But I just say truth. I mean they back stab God and I totally let them know I know this. Another thing I usually make a song about is 'Jesus loves me/ Jesus is here for me'.
But that is about dreams. One time I had an experience with what I call a shadow spider and it was not a dream(a spider as big as a fist). I got it from waking up from a bizzare dream (when I didn't trust Jesus and wouldn't sing with confidence in a dream). My eyes are really bad so if I ever saw a real shadow person or somethin at the corner of my eye I'd probably think it's my vision messing up. I hope to never ever see a person hovering over my bed. As a kid me and my bro even saw what people call thunderbird...yet it was only a shadow. We were playing in the warm sunlight on the driveway and this monster of a bird shadow appeared...I looked up and not one cloud was in the sky. That thing followed us to our house (we ran) and I saw its shadow climb blinds. It had no body...just shadow, like we were scared it would've taken us away as food o.0. Me and bro never talked about it...
when i was younger i used to sleep on a loft bed. if you don't already know, loft beds typically have a fence covering the sides of the bed to refrain you from falling off. so my loft did have a fence and it had a little gap between the mattress and fence. usually my stuffed animals would cover that gap but there was a little opening between two of my stuffed animals so i could see the other side of my room when i would lay down. so at night i was in bed looking through the opening and i saw a dark shadow walk through the opening. i would also see things in the corner of my eyes but i was so scared because i actually saw something. in the past i have seen a little boy standing in the corner of a hallway at my grandparents before. but i haven't vividly seen something like that so it really shocked me to the core.
I think my dog really likes to listen to u speak, and I love ur content. So right now I am with my fur sister listening to our favorite youtuber. I am proud to say that we are part of the Reese's Piece's family!

I have a shade similar to this by nyx called London soft matte lip creme!! Might not be the exact one Hailey is wearing because her lips are shiny but color wise it's very close
Not sure but I'm the same shade if not paler and I use Mac studio fix fluid in NC10 it's pretty much their lightest shade and doesn't cause me personally to breakout❤️❤️❤️

Sometime when I try to sleep I feel a sudden weight coming onto the bed. It feels like something just sat down. One time I left my TV box on, so there was a small light illuminating my room. I felt something sit on the bed, and a dark shape blocked the light.
Sometimes when I walk into rooms I see a shadow in the shape of a person for a split second.
About one week ago, I woke up in the middle of the night to go use the bathroom. When I left I realized that I forgot to flush the toilet. As I was walking out of the bathroom, I saw a “shadow person”in the mirror. As soon as I laid down on my bed, I felt the weight on my bed again.
It could be a guardian Angel or Ancestor, especially if you're not being harmed or held down. I have had the same experience as you when it comes to feeling something sit on one side of my bed. I actually got a cozy feeling from it to be honest, like something was just trying to say goodnight. I rolled back over and went to sleep without any issues.
I remember when I was younger, my sister and my parents were downstairs and I was upstairs in the bathroom. I remember looking in the mirror and seeing this shadow (not a shadow on the wall or floor, it was like it had mass to it) go past the open door really fast towards my sister's room. At first I thought it must have been her. I called her name and got no answer so I walked into her room and found nobody there. It freaked me out a little bit but I didn't get any bad feeling from it. Just thinking about it now, it wasn't like a person going past the door. I remember it being almost like a wolf or shadow dog. I brushed it off as nothing then but thinking about it now, it could have really been something. Her room has always given me a strange feeling but I never really thought about it till now.

To be honest with you I had some strange occorrunces during my life with this type of entities. I remember one that happened when I was around 6 years old. It was night and my mom and I had sort of a conflict with each other. I've forgotten exactly the reason why we were fighting but I know that I was so furious that even when she was trying to be nice with me and bring positivity between us I still stood on the floor being silent with her. Eventually, she left me alone going to our bed and fall asleep after a while standing there I heard a sound in the window of the door close to the place where I was. I turned my head towards that direction and I saw the figure of a faceless dark man who was now tapping several times into the door's window. It scared me so much that I just run straight in the bed next to my mom and clung her.

I used to see ghosts all the time when I was younger. I remember one time I was home alone and was in the living room watching tv. I got up to go into the kitchen and looked down the hall and saw an older man, clear as day, walking from my sisters room straight across the hallway to the bathroom. I also used to see this man downstairs that was pure white, almost translucent except he was clear as day like he was actually there, with a look on his face as if he died a tragic dead and looked terrified as well as evil intentions. I still get a terrible feeling every time I go down there. My mother, when she used to live with me, she told my my dad let in evil because of the movies he would watch. I had a lot of paranormal thing happen, for example, I came home from school one day and all doors were unlocked and the garage door was open and my dad swore up and down everything was locked and closed when he left. I was home alone. My sister and I believe in shadow people ever since we were YOUNG children. She told me about them when she wouldn’t be able to know about them and told me they are stealing her stuff and giving them back days later. I believe this because it happens to me too, still to this day.

I CANNOT TELL YOU... how much i enjoyed this informative video! I have also had an experience with a shadow "man".. Waking me up (out of a dead sleep around 5 ish am) with some kind of noise.. I thought it was my husband running late for work. I propped myself on one elbow to take a better look..and it moved.. It walked from the furthest corner of my room, .. It walked past the foot of my bed and into the hallway and then left into the bathroom. I still thought it was my husband undressed .. Getting ready.

Ive been physically touched by shadow people and its one of the most terrifying things ever. And the first shadow person i saw had large horns above its head so i tend to lean on to the theory about some kind of demonic thing. But it also could be something else.

I saw one years ago. It stood in my bathroom at the time. I was sitting on my couch in the living room. It told me it’s intentions and it did so with a voice that came from all around me at once. I couldn’t single a point of voice out. Needless to say I moved.
This happens to me a lot sometimes I think it is just a shadow but watching this video taught me that there is something more.

When i was a kid my friends would say that when i was sleeping a shadow person would stand over me when i was sleeping. The weirdest part is ive never stayed in one place for more than a few years . Diffrent people who would have never known eachother who had the same story as i slept he watched. I believe he is still with me .

If I am correct there is an experiment that was done. Staring at the mirror in a dark room with a dim light, after a while your face morphs. It's all in the mind lol

Not that long ago I woke up and saw a huge black figure on the other side of my room I blinked really hard like 7 times and it was still there, obviously I freaked out and hid under my doona for like 2 minutes. when I came back up it was right above me and started choking me until I passed out. I'm still not sure what that was or if it's the same as shadow people.

Eloise Barjak when I was little and I was sleeping in my room and it was dark I used to sleep near the edge of my bed. And off beside the bed i would always see these dark shadowy figures dancing around and scaring me.
The first shadow figure I ever saw was at a friends house. It was late at night around the Fourth of July and I was about 13.. Faith and I went outside to talk to her step father who was in the garage. As we turned back into the house, we both saw a tall black figure of a man standing in the kitchen in front of us. We rushed back outside and told her dad who came in and searched the house looking for an intruder.. there was no one there. Even to this day we talk about that figure and it’s been over ten years since it happened.
That house was 100 percent haunted! The closet doors would move, youd hear footsteps down the hall, and one day I was crying about something in her parents bathroom. And as I sat there, I felt someone rubbing my upper back, but when I lifted my head to look, I was completely alone.

once when I went to bed , I looked at my door , it's always a little open and there is light coming through. and as soon I as my eyes were actually looking at the door, I saw a man's head! peaking kind of cricket through the door, I didn't really see a face but I felt like it did have some kind of face , or at least eyes because it was sooo definetly looking at me. it was completely black. It did move away after about one second. because this one second,I was just completely in shock. and I screamed as soon as I could and it kind of panicked and moved away from the door. I'd like to know your opinion, was it a ghost , demon or a shadow man?

i see these constantly. it keeps me up at night bc every couple seconds i see one out of the corner of my eye. my distinct memory is seeing one in the corner of my dining room and i quickly looked and still saw it then blinked and it was gone. i then felt someone walking behind me as i went up the stairs. i also see them in my room at night and feel them behind me
My shadow person started following me around when I was going through a rough time in my life. Sense it had a shape like me I thought it was my demon. It would make noises and had a dog that would walk with it.
At one point i wanted to talk to it and try to find out why it’s here and maybe make a ghostly friend or something.
It poked me and then never showed up a again.
I literally chased it trying to talk to it and it did not want anything to do with me after that.
I went out to find it and I thought I saw a pig looking thing. I was scared I won’t lie but instead of running... I just waved at it and said hi...

Bro the end of my street doesn’t have a lamp at it, so I drove in after the night shift one day and I drove right Through a shadow person trying to go through the crosswalk. I felt so horrible (thought I’d hit a person for a second and still felt bad when I realized it was a shadow person) I just had to apologize to the poor thing because I felt like I had been so disrespectful by driving through it like it wasn’t even there.
