because the crimson you are using is cool biased. it difference with the brand of paint you are using . in this case your add a drop of yellow to the mix to get warm red . Also .. if your apply the mix of paint you got currently over a yellow wash .. it will automatically become warm biased .. that is it will lose it's pinkish shade and turn orangish ..
