This is a truly great moment for Indian tech scene. As an Indian Aerospace engineer from IITB now working for Airbus in France, I can't state enough the importance of this success in the space-landscape. I hope Skyroot will soon work on reusable launch vehicles and larger engines (like the falcon) with a vision to put Indians in space and remain commercially viable in the process!
Skyroot now can silently begin to compete for private space market dominance ( telecommunications, weather, military, Agriculture, urban planning, space explor etc) against the likes of spaceX and focus on being the affordable entity in competition with large players like them. But this needs access to advanced simulation suites, computing resources, AI lead design and analysis, cheap but reliable manufacturing of vehicle components, advanced electronics, alternative fuel research( H2 or methane combustion) and mission planning. This is already frontier tech in Aerospace even here in France. It is a long way to go but a great opportunity to transform our saddling economy, bring more jobs, earn export revenue, stabilize currency & be a space power. It will earn our seat on the big tables ( think P5, G7, G4, UNSC). The implications of how this plays out can be phenomenal if the leaders are willing to support these initiatives with infrastructure and economics. I really wish our political brass wakes up soon and taps into the energy of our young guns!
Excited about our future! Well done Skyroot!
Your being way too optimistic, unless an independent body is put in-charge of hi-tech industries, the political class will extend timelines and delay innovation and progress by huge margins.
An independently funded and transparent body can assure an accelerated growth for sure, but this won't be tasteful for the money hungry politician, bureaucrats and govt officials.
@@PrashanthRaoNDZ Look illi*terate, Modi Govt. Set up InSpace In 2020 to Enable what you commented, The BJP Govt. want to Involve Private Sector into Space and brought Major Reforms just like in other sectors, And to deny any Govt. Or bureucrats interventions, The Modi Govt. set up InSpace to Help Private Sector and Transfer ISROs Technologies to Indian Private Start-ups just like how NASA transfers Tech to Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin and Space X

your expectations doesnt match with what they achieved now. There found should now to mimic a rocket which can deploy satellite in the upper earth orbit without ancient technique.I was laughing when you say falcon, reuseable bla bla bla.
When we look back after 10-15 years, we'll realise what an astounding day it was.
Congratulations to Skyroot . You're India's pride. 👍👍🙏🙏❤❤👏👏
Wonderful!👌👍 Even the private sector is coming of age in space technology. Heartfelt congratulations to the Skyroot people who made this rocket.
Well done Skyroots n ISRO
Hope it becomes space x of India
Superb ...a historic moment. India should concentrate on technology...kudos to all involved
Congratulations 🎉
Thanks you Sarkar for letting Indians show their potential. This is just the start!
Made in India for India🔥🔥
Proud moments
Why is the rocket body looking like blown up in the cam footage? Is it supposed to look like that?
cringe alert: ccp bots impersonating Indian Historical Figures.
India India
Great moment
Great going. Communists and Socialists must be crying 😂😂
What was the purpose of the rocket
1)Testing a purely solid fuel rocket engine by the company.
2)To reach an altitude of 80km from earth surface.
3)it can be used for launching low orbit small satellites very cost effectively.
4)following this success its biggest models will be designed for reaching an altitude of 700km to 900km range.
5)This rockets will be very cheap and different satellites can be launched with size selectivity options depending of the size of the satellites in a very low cost.
@@sumitprasad6269 this is not to launch any satellites, but payload. From where do you saying that launches are cost effective?
@@spetsnazGru487 it has placed 3 satelites in the EAO, in this launch.and obviously, it is the cheapest satelite launch till date.
@@rickgolder6818 there is huge difference between satellite and payload. They havent launched any satellite
winnie the pooh's prc is insecure about the steady rise of India. Thats why sending the wuimaos😅 🐖
This would not be possible without Nehruji and his family. All the credit should go to Nehru for the successful launch.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😁yes our beloved nehruji did this. He opened up the space for private sector
Nehru devided my country, Make Islamic Pakistan and blame RSS
Yes he was great donar, First given Islamic Pakistan than donate 33000 SqKM to china,
🤣🤣
We should open Universities like IIT for space missions .
