@@ThePandamoniumMedia Placing the pavise in a way that the swing doesn't hit it is actually galaxy brain. Seems like it never even swings at you anyway. It must be placing the pavise in front of it that gives it a valid target to initiate the swing.
Yeah, i have video to show this tactic if ppl are interested, but in short the tactic is to put pavise next to wall and far away enough so he doesn't swing at you after attack.

there is also easier way to 1 pavise cheese the boss, so he can't "slide" away from that stuck position :D

@@Uberkist If you're far away enough from the troll he won't swing. That's why placing them close to the doors and sitting behind them doesn't work.

Climbing mutliple pavises or putting them on torches has been patched
