Hopefully all of the parents on the fence or negative about the whole aspect will see this. There's some people that are good enough to make it but they're held back by their parents.

Really beautiful to see dads n moms support their kids careers! Makes me happy cause growing up I was in the 1% of racers in any racing sim type game, and my parents basically forced me to stop playing so much and just focus on getting a boring regular job. I'm sure this is how it is for most. So this is truly inspiring. And now I'm a dad. I hope my kid is gonna be a pro in RL lol Lord knows i'm an SSL stuck in D2 ;)

Hearing how Squishy and Justin's dad talking about what Justin would need just sounds both believable and comedic in a way. Love these extra videos. I think one of the biggest shocks parents are getting when they are getting game culture exposure by going to their child's events they realize how genuinely supportive the community is to all the up and coming players. Older players, casters, fans, etc all showing excitement at seeing these young lads finally making LAN appearances. The parents get to witness that first hand and I'm sure its super reassuring to them to not only see that first hand but meet the other parents who may have had similar doubts and questions about the whole ordeal. LAN does real wonders for everyone choosing to get involved

Going pro is something I have been very interested in since around 2019 and I’m always talking about my favorite pro players (app Jack, jstn) and my mom and dad are starting to see how much I’m interested in it. We plan on going to worlds thing season and I want to show them just how much rl means to me.

This was beautiful. I am an older gamer now, which is weird to type out but I remember sneaking away to practice halo 1 to try and take down our local tournament. I'd dream of being Walshy or Tsquared. I can't even fathom having parents this supportive. Totally made me cry watching this.

If only I'd been born a few years later with a bit better talent, I could've been a pro gamer. Sadly, my parents hated video games, and I was just "barely above average" at every game I wasted my life on. Now, I'm a college educated businessman in an empty husk who hates my job, and lives only to play video games.
Nothing but respect for those who were able to make their love for video games a true career.
Anyone could be a pro gamer with a "bit better talent", that's the point. You literally have to grind 8 hours a day for years to reach that level.
