Wrong the first 3 did not bring fruit to maturity. In other words they rejected the word, they heard and tasted of it, they heard and did some religious stuff, they even called on his name, but they they truly did not believe. STRAIGHT UP FALSE TEACHING. King James Bible And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. This tree also germinated.
Correct, one has to divide what was taught to the Jews by John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter and the other 11 apostles from what Jesus gave Paul, our apostle, to teach.

This is a Jewish parable. They could be lost because they weren't saved until they are resurrected into the kingdom. Read Acts 3:19-21 kjv. You are mixing Paul's gospel of eternal security with Jewish salvation. The first three soils, because they did not persevere until the end and bear fruit, were lost. In Hebrews [written to the Hebrews, not us] Hebrews 6:4 tells them that they could lose their salvation. Hebrews is not for us saved in the dispensation of the grace of God.
This is a horrible butchering of scripture. I have been hearing pastor, teachers etc teach this parable for 50 yrs and have never heard this kind of interpretation. They are obsessed with the word believe. I there is no fruit there was no real belief.
Incorrect. There was no fruit to maturity it says. Do not quote only half the verse. Those WHOSE WORKS (and works are a synonym for fruit,) were still saved "SO AS JUST BY FIRE, 1 Cor 3. All there works were wood, hay, and stubble, and burnt up they suffered LOSS OF REWARD. YOU SEE HOW MUCH MORE Infinitely Lord JESUS SALVATION IS. HE SAVES THOSE HE KNOWS WILL NOT BEAR FRUIT TOO.
And every branch in Me who does not Bear fruit (loss of reward) He takes home prematurely. Ashamed at the BEMA (judgement seat), no boldness or confidence. LOSS OF REWARD BUT THEY THEMSELVES ARE SAVED SO AS JUST BY FIRE.
I think this must be the correct interpretation because Jesus said the 2nd soil believed and had great joy. I do not believe you can loose your salvation. He also says the first soil did not believe and thus was not saved.

Truth.
Lots of nuggets for me in this teaching. So good and God bless
Good news is if you are the first soil you can still be saved and born again JUST BELIEVE WHAT JESUS DID WAS ENOUGH and receive it by faith
AMEN!!! 🎻🍁🙏🏼☀️💜
Thank you!!! Consensus theology has taught this parable incorrectly. What a blessing to understand when the word is rightly divided!

Yes, the first soil represents the unbelieving. The other three soils received the word, making them believers.

Perfect!
Should and must are two different things.
Since once you do believe, you have ETERNAL LIFE, how does Satan stop that in these cases?
Such heresy
How so?
Bad, bad, bad.

Yeah, because most pastors are unsaved. I think that’s pretty common sense to me.
Can you please tell me what is your definition of a saved person please.@@christophe_li
