If you don’t want to butcher your farm animals, I think you can sell them back to the ranchers.
For your animals, I’d suggest removing all the feed and alternate feeding them. One day for fowl next day for barn, etc. that way, they might be peckish, but you can keep them alive until you get more hay.
I was hoping not to have to, but maybe this is the way.
Wow! What a beautiful house, and so many rooms now. Also the family has a fancier staircase to stand on. (One thing in this game that drives me crazy.) I was hoping that you could share the hay while you were looking for more. And I remember you trying to figure out how much hay that you would need to get through the Winter. Hope someone will have some hay for the chickens. 💐
Every time she fast traveled past the town square; "NO! Get the ICE!!!"
If you have 2 upgraded coops & 2 upgraded barns full of animals, you will need to harvest 224 hay every 7 days not counting extra to store up for Winter.

Dang the upgraded house looks amazing!
The new upgraded house looks great! And maybe try fishing in some completely different areas, you may catch some of those rare fish you need, they may even be seasonal.
I don't NEED them, they are just nice to have at this point, I already have enough fish for the pillar now.
Oh no, did Shelab fall afoul of the "moving a coop or a barn deletes all the hay inside" bug? :(
If you have the recipe for potted fern, it’s really easy to make. Just dirt and clay I think.

I dont like the white painted wood in the house :( Wish it would be customizable. Guess i stay with the previous house then :D But the stooorage is so nice

So eating the eggs (the young) of the birds is not a problem, but butchering a bird when it has eggs in its system (pregnant) is... Of course the game does separate eggs from having young... but I keep chickens for eggs (eventually will get meat chickens). ?????
