    Your pool is amazingly beautiful! The deck is awesome! We are considering putting one in! We had an in ground pool for 10 years! It was old and we did a new liner it worked well! Then my husband got tired of cleaning it and it was time for a new liner! He filled it in!! I wasn’t happy to say the least! But we are considering putting in a pool like yours! You did a fantastic job! Hope you have years of enjoyment! Thank you for sharing! 🏖

    I have watched a bunch of stock tank pool videos over the past couple of days and I just wanted to say that your finished pool and deck setup was one of the best. All of that hard work paid off. It looks great!

    good on you for the sand filter! 100% better than the little fiber/paper filters. the sand filter needs to be back washed to clean but no new purchases needed. drain and store inside if you don't live in a warm year around area.
    congratulations!

    I love your video! Keeping it real by not editing out the OH SHUCKS. I would like to know more details about how you leveled the area and also how’s its holding up ( the stock tank itself). Any rust? How’s the area around the pool ? When you back flush where does the water go? Would you do anything different as far as the set up ?

    Very awesome.. we also have a stock tank pool that is 6 ft. How i wish we could have that pretty deck and filters.. My Mom used to remove the water each week and she uses a floater with bromine tablets to kill bacteria..

    You have those long joists held to the 4x4 posts using just those screws? That's a lot of weight to put on six screws and they don't have a lot of shear strength. I hope they don't break.

    We love this! We are putting together our own stock tank deck right now! What is the space between your foot holders for your width of your deck? We are thinking about doing the 3 feet width and just trying to compare it. Y’all’s looks perfect!

      @slickslife5283  3 роки тому

      @@johnjuneau503 I believe it’s between 3-4’. We didn’t set that...first we determined how long we wanted each side, then we just split the difference for the center pole & footing.

    Somebody sent you valves that are both designed for water discharge.
    My 18 foot pool only came with one of those with the cap and it was designed for the water discharge not the intake. Your water intake is supposed to be a bolt on piece with no air valve.

      I’m not entirely sure if your trying to troll us, really suggest something or compliment us. Either way, you should know we chose to take our time, to share this project our way, with people on our channel. We aren’t professionals, and certainly didn’t gain a minute of fame from this, which is a great result...because all we wanted was a stock tank pool and deck, and we got that...but maybe that was too dramatic. *shrugs*
