RESISTS water. I was always wondering if it can actually resist it enough for a dunk. thankyou for sharing and testing as I buy WD40 specialist in the 6 packs due to my other hobbies that i use it for.
CorrosionX the way to go for quick proofing. it worked the second time because the coat was still there after applying it, however, it was shorted the first sec you put it in the water, that's why there are bubbles coming up, it not shuts down, but it sure won't fly either ;)
@@CrowWingFPV WD-40 is fancy name for kerosene. I bet silicone version does nothing here. Ordinary wd-40/kerosene would do the same. Problem is it does not stick, so it will move and evaporate. So, sure, if you can spray it before every flight , it might work.
@@noobFPV it seems to be the case, the directions state it dries with a clear film, I interrupted that the once dried the silicon film would protect the electronics. But in the end it’s just WD-40 as you stated lol

Maybe dielectrical grease / spray?
Perhaps it vaporizes slowly if left open to the air.
Thats what I am thinking, who knows.
To sum up, it does not work.
Yeah pretty much lol, but in a pinch or emergency just spray-n-go maybe?
