Let's see one of these with optics and mounts. Edit: 32:00 see this is what Im interested in. How well do these hold up? Good enough for 22lr training?
The big Problem that I see is the availability for the EU, thats why we are kinda limited to repro stuff from China. T-REX gear is very very limited or really really hard to find, same goes with other american brands (ferro, spiritus... etc.). So if you want to get good gear from america you need to import it and pay custom fees that are almost the same price as the product your buying, so if I want a sidecar your paying ~100$ on top of shipping and the holster itself.
They're perfectly capable of making good gear, is there anyone who doesn't have at least one type 56 kicking around? The type 56 has probably served in damn near every conflict in the past 50+ years and it's reputation is for being good and reliable is entirely deserved.

It's really important to remember that in China, guns, including airsoft guns and related accessories, are completely prohibited. In fact, producing military-level gun accessories can lead to serious legal consequences, including up to 10 years in jail. This is a crucial point for everyone to consider, especially companies like TREX. Given this context, it's more likely that any gun accessories coming from China are intended for harmless purposes like toys or cosplay, and not for any military use. It's a good suggestion for TREX and others to view these items in this light. Also, when creating content like videos, it's helpful to be aware of and respect the regulations and culture of different countries. A brief introduction or explanation about the specific situation in a country, like China's strict gun laws, can be both informative and respectful to viewers from all over the world. Love and peace to all! 🕊✨
That optic box looks similar to tacticon optic boxes. Someone else has called out the Gun Media industry reselling lower cost/previous models optic at a higher price to turn a profit.
would've loved to see some of the "good" chinese stuff like emerson gear. i bought one of their 1961a clones to run until it shit the bed, and it hasnt after a couple years
It takes a lot of confidence to look at Chinese ripoffs of your products and actually note the good points instead of just pointing and calling them junk (which knockoffs are IMO). Well done and should point out why you buy the real thing. I think it would be outstanding if you made a "not a ripoff" patch with the Rex and hat.
Thank you for comparing this stuff. I would love to see a video comparing all of the milsurp, name brand, and Chinese nylon equipment under NVGs/IR light. I only have a limited number to test, but I think this would really help push people to buy quality. My LAPG backpack glows like a flashlight under nvgs. That camo webbing that you use to cover stuff with actually does really well hiding IR for some reason.
Wasn't aware so many good stuff on Aliexpress! Definitely gonna make some orders with the way lower prices. I'm just an average guy who won't really depend on them for my life. Thanks a lot for the advertisement!

What brand and where did you get em ? I have an Olight badlr and Streaml8ght TLR9 and my crappy $30 Feyachi light off amazon is brighter than both of them lol
Nothing special about Surefire weapon lights as far as performance, there are a ton of lights that are far brighter, the reason Suerfire charges a premium is because they are battle proven and virtually indestructible.
@@KevinHuff23I’m gonna agree with this. I’m ashamed to say, I bought an olite, a knockoff streamlight, and a knockoff SureFire. The 2 knockoffs couldn’t stay on the gun. The olite internals couldn’t handle the recoil. It just kept flickering. Good customer service though. They just sent me a new one no questions. I might try it on a pistol, rifles are too strong.
Buy US made gun stuff. Manufacturers over there don't even have access to guns or any specs to make the most accurate mold. For example, Olight pays shit tons of money for US content creators to do live ammo test that they couldn't do in China.
There is no private gun ownership in China so the domestic market for this is either actual PLA or it's Cosplay gear. The PLA stuff is prob high quality but nine times out of ten what you get from Alibaba or wish is Cosplay..

Really enjoying this series! Such an awesome idea, well done. I think a nice touch would be mentioning the price difference between the real/chinesium. @@cronoslamar4061 Tacticon body armor looks legit. Made in USA to NIJ standards.
I have a magnifier that is working out good so far.
TA and T-Rex have a thing with each other... I'd like to see T-Rex beat on the TA stuff as much as TA beats on it in their videos.
You mean they have a thing about us. We didn’t know they existed until they published an advertisement using our footage
@@cmptrgk16 if your on a budget for lvl4 plates buy ceramic lapg plates not steel. ar500 was NOT meant for body armor it’s too heavy and does not have bullet absorbing capability it will send shrapnel into your arms ar500 is meant for a bullet to hit it and not ricochet so it will send all the bullet fragments too the side that’s why they’re good for targets. But tacticon’s armalite knock-off plate carrier doesn’t seem bad
@@cronoslamar4061 idk man, check out some other videos. I agree on steel not being lightweight. They've done some in-depth videos showing how their polymer coatings prevent the shrapnel from getting out. Plus you can have multiple hits in one spot without major breakdown like ceramic.
Show us some Chinese Nods, I’d be interested to see a one year review lol.
Im not sure we can get chinese tubes. Only housings. I've been looking
NNVT are Chinese tubes they are widely available @@TREXARMORY
Cold harbor supply sells NNVT tubes (Chinese) there out of Canada but will sell to the USA
It's crazy how Chinese citizens over there can't even buy any of this, or able to use them, but they readily available to export to the US or other countries.
Let's see one of these with optics and mounts.
Edit: 32:00 see this is what Im interested in. How well do these hold up? Good enough for 22lr training?
What about that gear for the "poors" from TACTICON ARMAMENT? Any plans for taking any of there offers up?
The big Problem that I see is the availability for the EU, thats why we are kinda limited to repro stuff from China.
T-REX gear is very very limited or really really hard to find, same goes with other american brands (ferro, spiritus... etc.). So if you want to get good gear from america you need to import it and pay custom fees that are almost the same price as the product your buying, so if I want a sidecar your paying ~100$ on top of shipping and the holster itself.
You can thank Pakistan China built a railroad straight to Germany
I wonder how the knock off colors look/work under NVGs
Like someone just lit the beacons of gondor
@@gratuityprime-vh4xm And you have footage to back this up? Or just assumptions?
So when is the all Chinese loadout test video coming out?
This man has gone full circle and is now reviewing knockoffs of his own products
That PLA plate carrier was actually seriously impressive!
Yeah, it was the most expensive too
That's because it's actually made by professionals in China associated with the Military
They're perfectly capable of making good gear, is there anyone who doesn't have at least one type 56 kicking around? The type 56 has probably served in damn near every conflict in the past 50+ years and it's reputation is for being good and reliable is entirely deserved.
6:45 The weird hex bolt on that sidecar mag carrier is for the tensioner. You can tighten or loosen it. I know because i have a mag holder with the same thing, but American made
Temu had $10 carbon copy clones of the MFT minimalist rifle brace and i cant tell the difference side by side with my $50 real deal MFT . They mysteriously disapeared though along with their Strike industries clone braces
I can vouch for the sba3 braces on temu as well as the b5 stock. The B5 stock is exactly like the real one and the brace is actually better than the real one.
Yeah I love my mft knockoff, it is really nice.
Ya they had that stuff removed unfortunately. There's so muck good gear got removed 😢
There are some odd styled bicycle grips available on Amazon
This is so awesome and the music and animation in between is frikkkin hilarious
I'd be very curious to see a video with someone running drills with a chinese clone kit and the us version, and see how much it might affect them.
Internet demands a hard drill video with lucas in full t-rex knock off gear
Was waiting for him to open a package with either a solvent trap or DIAS 😂
Not gonna lie, i didn't even know chinese knock off trex arms holster existed. Now i kind of want one.
That optic box looks similar to tacticon optic boxes. Someone else has called out the Gun Media industry reselling lower cost/previous models optic at a higher price to turn a profit.
would've loved to see some of the "good" chinese stuff like emerson gear. i bought one of their 1961a clones to run until it shit the bed, and it hasnt after a couple years
Agreed have a kershaw wave sub $50 knife
Great knife
Looked like most of the stuff was Idogear right? Which is ok but definitely not as good as Emerson gear.
Please make a Chinese Rex! Por Favor.
MAKE THE PATCH
You should check all this equipment up against American version with thermal optics to see if you blend in better or stand out worse!
For anyone asking... The chinese T-Rex patch is coming soon. Lucas said it's in the works on IG.
We don't have plans for a patch right now. But we did stickers. Which technically can be modified into a patch with adhesive velcro.
😂 🎉
Funnily enough chicom chest rigs and repro mao era uniform are surprisingly invisible under NVs
@@CantoniaCustoms a german surplus flectar does really well too 👍
Wasn't aware so many good stuff on Aliexpress! Definitely gonna make some orders with the way lower prices. I'm just an average guy who won't really depend on them for my life. Thanks a lot for the advertisement!
Awesome channel love this guy! 🇺🇸❤️👍
How about giving tacticon products a try?
Scrolled through the comments looking for a tacticon mention.
I thought there was going to be a shit ton of tacticon gear after they released the video. I wanna see Lucas fight the sandalorian.
It's so weird I have yet to watch that but I like sandles dude but think the other blonde dude is kinda a douche. I reached out to them about a chest rig I bought because I wanted to test it out for 50% off and after letting them know I have a long torso and it didn't fit and was told I was wearing it wrong 🤣 like okay bro sorry forgot you know more about my measurements than I do . I will back there battle belt v2 its pretty functional. most of the other stuff is kinda meh very chinesium.
I like the direct comparison vids. makes me know why I stick to normal merican made stuff.... Please see if they glow when IR is shined at them
How much do they glow with IR? Have you looked at NIR vs non NIR items at anything beyond 40m?
@@21kiwi24 some fabrics will reflect extra light when you shine IR at them. I would say they stick out like someone in street clothes vs camo. So very terrain dependant
The difference between military grade from pla to independent manufacturer in china has a massive difference in terms of quality and design.
The pla doesn't even use that sideholster
"Tacticon has entered the chat..."
You forgot to get the knock off surefire X 300 lights in both styles! I have one and so far it works just fine and works in holsters made for the light!
I might try it on a pistol, rifles are too strong.
now you have to test them under IR since you mentioned it so many times 😆
Can't wait for a knockoff range day video
I need to buy some Chinesium Safariland holsters if the retention is that good. I haven't bought one that works in years.
Adjust the screw, to add more retention
@@mediumpace9834 My problem is always the ALS. Never latches on to my gun.
I can't wait till you do a full knock-off load out and run some drills.
Waiting on a full plate carrier loadout using big-name rip offs.
@@TREXARMORYlooking forward to that! Perhaps a gentleman’s conversation while you’re at it? Advocates of the 2A should find common ground and come together. If not for entry level , affordable gear that will help new comers and future generations get into our god given right then to come together to preserve our rights. We the people need every player on the field to win this thing
As a marine used to getting issued MIA gear that’s been used and abused 100 times over, there is some gear here that I’d prefer using…
we need that chinese rex patch right this minute
MAKE THE PATCH
Is Lucas OK after smelling the bag 4 times...??
I enjoyed this episode, but I didn't feel that it was a fair comparison between products. Maybe you should have told us the price differences. 90% of my nylon gear is Haley, but I bet that "Chinese" stuff was WAY cheaper. Most of the time, you get what you pay for. All of my tactical holsters are the TREX Ragnarok from you. My sidecar is from Tier1. $34 is HELLA cheap compared to the Tier1 Agis Elite for $140.
I agree with what you said here and said something similar in a comment if you can afford it enough to have something more than sticking stuff into your pants pockets. Then have that. After all, if it hits the fan you're gonna trade up or be dead so start with something. Especially for this kind of equipment.
I was not aware this side channel existed. Glad it popped up.
Love this stuff, please make it a series!
I mean it was 8 parts that’s better than most fox series
I'm thinking with the 6354 you just got a lemon. 😂
bravo to yall for showing how people can save money buying things from china. especially since you sell similar items on yalls website. Just curious of the items you showed brand or name of manufacturer. thanks
lmfaooo lucas sniffing the carcinogenic chinese package spray like hes gonna figure out the smell....
Buy some lead and steel stuff for the next episode lol
Ok, we seriously need a ChinaRex latch... you technically own it..😂😂😂😂
WE WANT THE JAKL VIDEO NOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That holster, were those like nock off ulti-clips?
You should've done some weapon lights. They make a whole bunch of knock off WMLs.
the knock off surefires are ok but the modlites are actually good. The switches and light mounts are the same at 1/8 the price
After purchasing a dozen surefire lights, I think I'll try one as well
What’s the fake acro called?
Please do a comparison between a Real and Fake Unity and Hydra Mount.
Really enjoying this series! Such an awesome idea, well done. I think a nice touch would be mentioning the price difference between the real/chinesium. For some specific items (dump pouches, etc.), a Chinese knock off might do the job fine, especially if you’re talking about a 3-5X price increase. It’d be interesting to hear your thoughts on that. Love the channel, and thanks for the content 🦖
you should do the fake unity fast 2.0 mounts, badger ordinance, Hydra and other copies out there. Some replicas are really good and affordable
I have a replica HYDRA I bought for a joke and the SOB is stronger aluminum then the real one ans better made with better screws. The original has subpar aluminum and actually bends which most know who have them and major complaint. It was 35$. Most aimpoint type clones don't have the locking lug although. Some of these companies are getting good. I know a few guys who have been running knock off mounts for 3+yrs with zero issues.
@@chaoticcaninejb couldn't agree more. I have a Fast 2.0 on a Leupold VX-6HD and you can't tell the difference.
