Diversamente da come è stato scritto le parole dell'inno tedesco risalgono al 1841 e rispecchiava il desiderio dei patrioti tedeschi di unificare sotto un unica bandiera tutti quei popoli che all'epoca erano tedeschi o di origine tedesca. I am not sure what you mean about the original. I think the original was written by Hayden to honor Emperor Franz Joseph. I think the tune is lovely and I think ueber alles refers to holding country above everything else in my heart. I also think the decision to change the national anthem to Einikeit und Freiheit was made because of the reminder of the Nazi and their imperialism.

There is a song called "The song of the germans" and it has three stanzas - The german national anthem has always only be one stanza of this song!

It was just an agreement between the president and the chancelor to use the 3rd verse at official occasions to illustrate the primeness of the reunion of germany.
After the connection of Middle Germany to Western Germany in 1990 an folowing agreement between the President and the Chancelor decleared to maintain the 3rd verse as hymn in cause of the complete reunion with eastern germany is still standing out...

Nel 1841 la Germania ancora non esisteva, ma solo 38 staterelli monarchici. Il "soprattutto" era inteso esclusivamente come sollecito alla unificazione. E' esattamente come se oggi cantassimo in tutta l'Europa "Europa, Europa soprattutto" per realizzarlo veramente.

Banned after 1945 by the victors, the Deutschlandlied is again the German national anthem, but after the German reunification in 1990, only the third stanza was adopted as the national anthem of all of the unified Germany. The first two stanzas are not actually forbidden, but they are never sung on official occasions. Singing or using the first stanza may be perceived as an expression of right-wing political views.

Chiron und alofelge, eigentlich habt ihr beide recht. Ich hab' neulich im China ein Projekt gemacht (mit chileanischen Kollegen), und da sogar im Heilongjiang ist es offenbar, dass China bald unglaublich wichtig wird.
Die Wahrheit ist, USA geht schnell unter, China hat die beste Technologie und Unternehmer- aber dieser deutschsprechende "Deutsch-Österreich-Polnisch" (Tschechish/Ungarn/Slowaken- ich bin Polen) wird zweiter wirtschaftlicher Pol.
