Watching ships go by and getting tied up Port of Miami

Ship is running late, everyone impatiently waiting to get in and claim their spot, as you can see in video there’s so much going on dockside, forklifts, other tankers, high lifts, cranes ect… so we have to get in soon as possible to get our spot or we lose it. I’m watching these beautiful ships go bye and get tied up and I’m thinking to myself I don’t know anything about Norwegian cruise, if you been on a Norwegian cruise leave a comment how was it, I’m familiar with Virgin, carnival and royal Caribbean but I don’t know anything about Norwegian, I hope you enjoy the video I get asked allot to tell more about who I am so I’m going to tell a little about myself, thank you for watching #cruise #portofmiami #miamidade #miami #norwegian #norwegiancruise
About me:
I am happily married, I am a local truck driver, I’m home daily, I live in south Florida, I have 1 grown kid he lives in Houston Texas, I’m a foster parent we currently have a 15 year old boy, we have had him 19 months, I started driving trucks when I was 16 years old, I learned old school through my step father, I never went to any driving school, I been driving for 36 years, I’m very good at what I do and I always give it 110% everyday to make sure I and others around me (cars, trucks, pedestrians ect..) go home safely. I love my job, I have been at my current job over 10 years, I have pulled tanker just guessing about 23 years give or take, pulled dry box (45’ 48’ 53’ box trailers) for many years as well, I have pulled refer (refrigerated) box trailers as well, pulled containers and flatbed, my flatbed experience is minimal, I don’t like strapping loads down and definitely don’t like pulling tarps so flatbed others can have it lol. very interesting. what was that oversize load construction vehicle doing?

That’s the crane, they are taking material and putting it on top of the ship and possibly bringing material down, we are so use to them being at ships we really don’t pay any attention but yeah supplies that need to go to the top deck of the ship or need to be removed are done with a crane, thank you for watching

OMG! I hate to think how early in the morning this is! 😂 I know the ships come in very early. Always the worst part of the cruise. 😢

Yes it is very early it’s about 5:30am and we have to start earlier than that to be there in time to go through commercial vehicle inspection which is still very lined up with trucks, thank you for watching

Yeah the night before my cruise I couldn’t sleep that well. So I woke up at 4am and went UA-cam to watch Miami cameras to see all the ships coming in and they were all coming in at 4am and later. I saw my ship the NCL ENCORE COME IN. PLUS THE NCL SUN, virgin, msc carnival and Royal Caribbean. It was cool, then went back to sleep then woke up to get ready to head to the cruise port. I hate the day we come back it’s the worst day ever. I want to do back to back to back cruises. So I can stay on ship. Get off and get back on again..i
