Thanks for the video, when selling different kind of products (like watches or furniture) it's better to have a different webshop for each product type right?
That is entirely up to you, but in case of my personal preference: yes. In this way you can become an authority in that specific niche and do marketing more easily!
Hello Jessica I am looking into getting started with dropshipping and I wondering if you can make a video were you go through the excel sheet you have made and show how the calculations work ?
Sure! Do you have both the BigBuy and bol.com plugin for it? Basically, the EAN code is general for both. With the EAN code a product gets recognized on bol.com and you can publish it on the bol.com platform to sell it.
So you made 1600€ of revenue but what is the profit? First product you showed was not profitable, another one out of stock and most imortant you did not include VAT in purchase price. I think those calculations are wrong. Am I wrong?
@@gediminasS1715 thank you for being sharp. - I did not calculate VAT in purchase price cause no VAT was charged. My business is located in NL and BigBuy in ES. - I ran this store in the beginning of 2024. At that moment average profit per product was between €15 and €30, which is 20%. 6 months later I recorded this video and apparently the sale prices had changed. Luckily you can see the actual profit calculations from back then also in the spreadsheet. I hope this clarifies!
@@jessica_risch Thank you for your answer. So in order to not have to pay VAT and be more competitive one has to open a company with VAT number, right? My account is personal and there is no option to change it to company so I probably have to create a new one.
