Jamie has brought so much to this company!
If there was a Lego hall of fame then he would be in it!!!
Jamie's Parisian Restaurant not only brought me back into the world of Lego, but also brightened a dark time in my life!
He’s such a great a guy and frankly a genius designer
Wow, one of my favorite designers on one of my favorite UA-cam Channels, I FEEL LIKE I JUST WON THE JACKPOT
I had been wanting a roller coaster for so long and glad Jamie pushed for it. Love all the amusement park rides. Now please more trains 😃
Great interview, BTB. Jamie is a perfect representative for LEGO and AFOLs.
He seems such a genuinely great guy, still a child at heart too, like most of us :)
Very good interview. Jamie always have so many interesting and valuable insights.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome learning more about this! It was also a pleasure talking to Jamie last August.
Such a lovable person, he's my "hero", sort to say. I was a hardcore Bionicle fan in the early 2000s then I recieved Building Bonanza and I was shocked by the whole package. That set then made me fall in love with Café Corner back in 2007, which then got me into modular buildings. Finally, once I got a bit older, Tower Bridge came around and I knew I had to buy that one as well (I also got Big Ben, of course).
It's safe to say that, if it hadn't been for Jamie, I'd have never got all these awesome system sets and just kept being more of a technic/constraction guy
Made the right decision. Bionicle started getting pretty bland in 2008, went back up in quality in 2009, only to end in 2010. The second generation had some great sets, but again, ended in 2 years.
@@cocoa7053 That didn't mean I stopped buying Bionicle sets as well, those were and still are evergreen to me! I even bought all the g2 sets and, despite some bad aspects, I enjoyed most of those builds. Also, just to tell you how Bionicle is important to me, I'm still making mocs, actually I did one two weeks ago, right after the exam session ended :D
I love all those modulars and other sets I mentioned before, but Bionicle is my favourite line period
Great interview! And of course an awesome interviewee. Keep up the spectacular job, all of you.
Thanks for this interview, he is living my dream =)
Such a great help for an aspiring lego creator on UA-cam ! Thanks for interviewing an amazing designer beyond the brick! :)
Thanks for watching!
My favorite designer right here, so glad to hear him talk about the Parisian Restaurant!
Love Jamie. Can’t wait to see you interview Chris McVeigh who just got a job at LEGO!
Awesome interview, totally wish this was my job haha! 🙂👍🤘
As always, great interview Joshua
Thanks for watching!
I love the interviews on this channel!
Thanks for watching!
This was an excellent interview. Super interesting. I've always wanted to work for LEGO.
Awesome interview Jamie is an amazing designer
Why isn't Jamie designing the Modular Buildings?? He made the best ones!
He's taking a break from it and doing other things, I assume.
It's a tragic loss.. And they took the whole line in a slightly different, inferior direction. I haven't bothered with the last two :( almost dreading 2020
Definitely one of my favorite designers!
By far my favorite designer. Has always been an inspiration to me. Fun fact, I sent a letter to Enfield, CT in search of Jamie, and I actually got a response from someone working at the offices. They said they were unable to hand it over to him, but I think soon I'll try again, and we'll see - hopefully I can reach him this time :)
Such a great designer 👏
His story is so similar to so many of us.
Thats hella clever of inverted elements!!!
He is my favorite designer.
His first set design is one of the few I deliberately refused to take apart because I liked it so much.
i still dont get how to apply for a model designer in the website there is no option to be a model builder
Why is jamie just like me Literally almost every thing that he said is basically my lego life
Very likeable guy!
Could you please link the project mentioned in 1:44 ?
You can see the LEGO Millyard Project in our video from back in 2015: ua-cam.com/video/uXr-2dhXNiM/v-deo.html
I really want to work for Lego as well. It would be great to be ina Lego user group as well
OMG that is Nathan Drake from Uncharted.
I only bought the modular that jamie did
Hey Do you have to speak Danish to be a Lego Designer at Lego Denmark?
