I think that ya'll sound like amazing parents & ya'll covered the great parenting tips too! I'd only add that my mom used to be my Sunday & Wednesday teacher (at church) many different years & she had a reward system for memorizing verses & books of the Bible. (Just gifts from like Dollar Tree.) But putting verses in the youth will help through all the trials when the parents aren't there. Ya'll definitely are amazing & a light to others/ the world!
This is a very good conversation to have. I'm on the other end, meaning my children are adults already. I thank God that we did great raising them. They are happy, thriving individuals making marks in this secular world. Thank you Jesus!
