AD was unstoppable and a Beast on both sides of the ball. JJ's coaching tonight was great. The constant movement we saw and plays being run atleast 90% of the time on offense was refreshing. Last years Lakers 90% of the time is standing around with zero movement or plays being run. Also the energy, hustle, and effort to clash and dominate the glass after a miss and outwork them. Simple simple things that Ham could not accomplish in his 2 year stint with LA. JJ's timeout use, plays after timeout etc and his energy on sideline great to. Biggest takeaway is the fact Lakers win game like this when they shot only 16% from 3 and a relatively quiet night from Lebron and DLO shows they are gonna be a tough team to beat especially when the shots start falling which they will.
Was about to comment but you said everything I was going to but better. The most impressive thing to me was the constant movement and it led to a lot of easy backdoor scores. Nothing looked stagnant in the halfcourt but the defense was OUTSTANDING! A lot of transition opportunities because they forced the TWolves into 3s leading to long misses. It's only 1 game so I'm not screaming too loudly but I was encouraged by what I saw.
@@steveing2572 Well it looks like he's still going to be playing at prime level this year and he will be 32yrs old before the end of the regular season with 13yrs under his belt so even if his injuries do begin to catch up to him it's not like he didn't have a chance to have a long career playing at an elite level anyway.
Lol if I didn’t watch basketball I would think AD is the worst player on the court. He’s making stuff anybody can make. Lol it’s not in the script if you get paid under 15 million.
The key for playing AD at center is for him to get help from the PF position on defensive rotations. He cant go 1 on 1 with the elite centers that are bigger than him. Offensively, he is a monster when healthy.

It’s crazy how people are surprised AD did this. He been doing this to Rudy and Kat at the same time for years. People just don’t wanna give him credit
Meanwhile, Bronny went 0/2 for 0 points in 3 minutes of play. He's supposed to be some great 3 point shooter, but he airballed his only 3 pointer.
