Wookie started his NS (National Service) duty on August 24th, 2009. He is currently at Nonsan Army Training camp for 5 weeks and then will be assigned somewhere for the next 2 years. All Korean men have mandatory military service of 2 years before they reach 30 years old.
Another update > Wookie has been promoted again and is now a corporal : ) Congrats Wookie!!! His one year anniversary of military service is coming up on August 24th. Yeah --- less than one year to go until his release date of June 20th, 2011.
Quick update on our guy for all Wookie lovers out there >> he just got promoted -and now has a "1st class" ranking. As a newbie he was a "2nd class" soldier before his promotion. Wookie hwaiting!!!

Update: Kyaaaaa.....Wookie's release from the military is scheduled for 8 a.m. June 20th, 2011 at Yongsan Camp. Like right now! His new project : LDW makes a comeback in the romantic comedy "Scent of A Woman", opposites Kim Sun Ah. Set to air starting July 16th on SBS. Location shoot change from Australia to Okinawa now.
