Abso-lutely! They're making these awesome figures (like this dude & the Howling werewolf) we've been wanting NECA to make sense forever. I'm pretty sure (I think) they're The company that will be making Killer Klowns from Outer Space too...'cause those Trick or Treat Studios staction figures just aren't doin' it for me. Now let's bring on Leprechaun!
Jerry (Macaluso) has been working on this figure along with Tom Woodruff Jr. for over 3 years to get the most accurate version of the character, I´m glad to see the final result is perfection. I guess it´s time to retire the old Movie Maniacs 2´s Pumpkinhead.
Even if it's not necessarily accurate to the suit from the film, I like the coloring on the Movie Maniacs figure more. It's definitely not a better figure by any means, but it still has a lot of shelf presence and appeal.
Every time I think I can't possibly get more excited about this figure, I see more details and get even more amped! Great, thorough review as always and this just shows me that this is every bit the figure I've been waiting at least 20-plus-some-odd years for. I ordered 2 of the standard version and they can't arrive soon enough!
The good news is you can pre-order it off of sites like Big Bad. It's supposed to be coming out really soon. Obviously doesn't come with the certificate though.
Can't wait to get my hands on this incredible figure of my favorite horror movie monster!! I only wish that they had included a head with the Ed Harley facial features that we see at the end of the film. Still, this is easily the best Pumpkinhead figure we've gotten to date.
For sure. I got rid of my Movie Maniacs version long ago for whatever silly reason; and passed on the ToTS one since their figures are pretty much statues. This (along with Leprechaun, Killer Klowns, Wishmaster, and Harry Henderson) are creature dudes I've been wishing for since the longest.
@@Chalor. I still have the McFarlane Pumpkinhead as well as the giant Sota figure, but this Syndicate Collectibles Pumpkinhead is definitely a step up from those two figures. Really is a 'must have' item if you're a fan of the film. Would be nice if they did an Ed Harley and Haggis figures too. I'd buy them all ! I'd LOVE to get a Leprechaun figure!! Harry Henderson would be cool too. McFarlane did a pretty good Wishmaster figure, but I don't own one. A company called Amok (I think) did some nice killer Klown figures a few years back, but they're expensive now. I did manage to get 'Shorty' though, who was my favorite known from the film. Neca did some cartoon- like versions of the Klowns for their 'Toony Terrors' line which were pretty cool too. Trick or Treat studios also has an upcoming line of Killer Klown figures as well.
@@jamisonfrey3452 Definitely with all that. I think the company was called Amok Time (just like the name of that Sci-fi movie or book, can't remember). It seems like I had catalog-like papers from that company back in the day. Now the Killer Klowns I really wanted were the SOTA Toys ones. Congratulations on getting that Shorty figure - probably my favourite too. I did find the Toony Terror version, but never came across the Fatso & Slim 2-pack.
@@Chalor. Yeah those Sota Toys killer Klown figures were really well made. Sota was also gonna do a Leprechaun figure, but the company went under before the figure got released. You can find pictures of it on the internet. I'm honestly surprised Neca hasn't picked up the license to do a Leprechaun figure.
@@jamisonfrey3452 Yeah, I had that Leprechaun picture on an old phone. They only ever showed it off at a con, so pretty sad. And it had the wishing well and all. It is nuts NECA hasn't done a Leprechaun yet. I can't imagine the licensing would be that pricey. Troll 2, Critters, and Ghoulies would be great ones too. At least a company is coming out with Ghoulies figures.
This is awesome. Loved this movie since i saw it with my brother in the theater. I still have the McFarlane Movie Maniacs figure but this one blows it away.
This has nothing to do with the PumpkinHead figure, but is to do with the Comic Con Exclusives. I'm new to collecting action figures (I literally got my first figure 3 weeks ago) and want to display them unboxed, but I just got a 2013 Comic Con Exclusive Neca Hit-Girl and she's in a blister pack. Should I crack her open, or am I better off keeping her sealed and buying a standard Hit-Girl to display instead?
@@kojo7485 thanks. I doubt she'll ever be worth a fortune but I got her for $20, so I figured she may be worth a bit more than that eventually if I don't open her.
NECA finally has some competition
@@replicatedmartyr that’s what I have been saying! Already out the gate doing articulated B and C level horror icons is a risk that’s paying off!

I´ve been saying that Neca is dead for a long time. All they know what to do are turtles.
Can't wait for the bigger version of this figure, it looks amazing.
Best and most acurate looking PumpkinHead figure I have ever seen! Well done!

Now if only they spent that much time on their Howling figure...

Holy s***. That thing is SICK!
You are so lucky to have that, I try not to be jealous as a collector but man it's hard

I have to get this for my Wife.
Sweet, I can’t wait to get this thing. I’ll have to put it away at night though 😂
Keep him inside the box😂
What a masterpiece.. Being it's signed by woodruff I'm jealous.🎃🤬😡😡😡😫🤓👹👺

Only thing missing would have been a head from towards the end of the movie when he starts to look like Lance Henrickson.
I thought that too, but might fall into likeness rights for Lance. (I’ll ask at SDCC)
Great review! Question, how tight are the hip joints? Will they stand the test of time or on the smooth side?
SO AMAZING! CAN'T WAIT TO GET MINE IN!
I freaking need this in my life and collection.
Man… I have 2 on PO but I REALLY wish I could get one of these. I’m a HUGE Tom Woodruff fan…

What i´ve never understood is why no one ever could see that the design of the creature is just a very well made rip off of the Alien.
Everyone thinks that
Pumpkinhead was designed by the same guy that made alien
Doesn’t come with sneakers?? Lame
