Harrison your MKAL is as lovely as l thought it would be....congratulations on finishing, tis even more amazing to realize you have only started to knit this year. Loving your podcasts so enjoyable to watch.
Thank you, i'm really happy with how it turned out and think the shape is surprisingly wearable so i see more on the horizon :) Glad you're enjoying them
I love the colours in your Go go Dynamo, it is so beautiful! Thank you for such an interesting video, v and for the gift of vicariously being able to enjoy advent projects!
I'm so happy I went with those colours really happy with how it turned out :) Thanks for watching i'm glad you enjoyed, and even with my Advents i'll absolutely be living vicariously through lots of others too :)
Hi, hi! I’ve just come across your podcast. My goodness, I can’t believe you’re a fairly new knitting and have delved into a Stephen West knit along! Well done indeed. Look forward to your next episode and welcome to the wool world. Happy crafting! 😊 Vasco
I knit the Advent Envy a couple of years ago. I can recommend it! Also, as a lady (only just) in my 60's, I can't say I have any problem treating myself BUT my children are grown and no grandchildren yet, so I expect that might change lol! X
It does look really fun i think it will be the use for one of my Advents for sure, and lets cross our fingers you never lose the ability to treat yourself :)
That's some beautiful work you've done there. I fancy doing a cowl, having seen the ones you show, but everything is so nicely done.. Look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Projects are looking good. If you want an easy cast on for a hat that's like a long tail, may I suggest a German twisted CO. It's a bit stretcher than a long tail. It's my go to lazy hat cast on. In terms of advents, I'm currently knitting a brioche adventure by Jonathan Tollow. Enjoying that. I also have a Spectrum Blip Scarf that's coming out next week that's perfect for an advent.
Thanks for the recommendation I will give that a go for my next Hat will be good to get a new technique under my belt. That sounds fun, what a fun name for a project i'll keep an eye out for that when it's out :)
It was my first time being here. I love it. See you next time
Really enjoyed.
I enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing your Advent yarn. I would not have had your discipline to not open the March, etc packages!

The hat, Turn a Square by Jared Flood of Brooklyn Tweed has excellent written directions for the tubular cast on.

My battery frequently dies when I'm talking, but I put that down to age.
Haha, hope you find plenty of time to recharge!
