It is a long time since I felt guilty about cleaning. Done my share with three boys and cats and dogs plus numerous grandchildren. Now, I bite the bullet and pay a cleaner but do have a smaller house. Mind you she is one in a million and lucky to find her. A couple of hours every two weeks and she achieves far more than I would! Money well spent although some of my friends don’t approve. Xx Liz
Thank you Karen for your inspirational ideas on cleaning. I hate cleaning in fact my daughter does most of it for me, I do pay her of course, but there are things I like to do myself like my bedroom so when I am in the mood I will have a jolly good clean up. Thanks for your tips.❤️❤️
Hi Karen. I am more motivated when the sun shines. I tend to stick to the same cleaning products but i do like to try anything new. Hubby and i are both retired and we do the cleaning together. I only do the basics on a weekend and in the week, don't clean after 1. Afternoons are our time. I keep on top of things so doesn't take much doing. I'm not one for clutter so that helps too xx
Love the practical tips. I live abroad in South Africa and we use different products and we are very conscious of overuse of chemicals. But I enjoy your chats.
Hello Karen, I use the astonish mould etc and detol washing cleaner, they are really good. I have a similar brush that I got from temu for cleaning blinds and I wasn't impressed either 😂 great cleaning tips, tfs xxx
Hi Karen, thanks for a lovely vlog, I feel like you gave me the incentive to at least try and do some cleaning. I’m on the elderly side now and although the brain is willing the flesh is weak, so I have to do jobs in small doses. That Astonish Mould remover looks and sounds just the thing I need in my bathroom and shower, I think I need a couple of bottles!!! I’m popping over to the other girls now, to see what tips they’ve got. Bye for now, love Sandra x
Morning Karen thank you very much for all of your inspirational ideas to clean and showing us your products. I did buy the mould & mildew cleaner when you recommended it some time ago and I’m so glad I did it’s amazing. I’m going to try the dettol machine cleaner because you have sold it to me and I like a nice smelling machine, I am also going to try the pet carpet foam/spray. The vamoosh pet hair remover is brilliant, my son has a dog/cat walker/sitter and all other animals and swears by this. We have a dog so the carpet spray would be a good idea too. I recommend Remi Clog on UA-cam for cleaning/declutter motivation. Thanks again loved the video, I can tell it’s very well researched and for your honesty 😊
Hi Karen. Will try that cleaner as the tikes in my kitchen are brown. As the person who lived here before was a chain smoker. I. I use a lot of bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar. I also use a lot from Purdy and Figg. They are oils in a small bottle and fill up to the top . It smells really nice. The worktop surfaces I get a box of the cleaner from must have ideas. The price of the pods work out under a pound so quite cheap. Will try the detol one. Thanks for the tip I have different blinds to you. I use a water based spray and they do work on my vertical blinds. All the best Rhian x
We had horizontal blinds all round in our last house. Nightmare! The best I could do was close them completely, give them a good dusting with a microfibre cloth , then do the other side the same. There's yet to be an effective tool for doing it if you ask me. The people who had our current house before us installed vertical blinds which are made of a plastic type material - you just wipe clean - maybe not the height of fashion hey but bliss to keep clean!
Cleaning never ends - always something in need of wiping, mopping or washing. I’m sure your tips will come in handy - thank you 🌺
Yes it's a thankless task Evelyn :-) x
Enjoyable video. Thanks.
Thanks for watching Jane x
Love using a washing machine cleaner I have also tried dettol 😀👍x
The smell is just so good :-) xx

I do one of two things when I clean, I either turn my music up or I have complete silence both just as good. Thanks for the inspiration ❤❤❤

Hi Rhian - a lot of people seem to use white vinegar, I must try it! Thanks for watching xx
I used the mild spray, it is really good x

My mum used to say " the house will be here when you're not." ..... think I live by that. Hate cleaning. Need motivation....
Good saying Joyce, it's just never-ending! x
