Love this bag. Took a little longer to break in than I expected, even after toss sauce the bag didn’t really stretch much, but after throwing them a couple of weeks they are perfect! Has definitely become one of my favorites if not my favorite bag.
@MikesBags Mike, I have a question on your recommendation between a Fly Strix vs Cornhole Coastal Boardwalker. Price is about the same. I'm looking to learn to roll and flop. Anything you can point to in regards to your preference between the two? Appreciate your response.
The Strix is going to be an easier bag to roll. It's a fuller, less floppy bag, and that makes it easier to roll. Plus, it's got a stickier slow side material.
Hey Mike love your reviews, you do a great job giving an honest opinion on each bag. Can you do a video if you can only own 6-8 sets of bags which sets you’d own
I couldn't do that. I pick my bags based on conditions, weather, how I want to play, how my opponent plays, etc. I would pick different sets for every tournament. Plus, bags are a personal preference, so bags that are the best for me, may not be the best for you.
I got them in and threw them immediately and I couldn’t keep them on the board they were super fast 💨 I used the vinegar break in method and they feel great now! Let you guys know when they dry out hopefully they slow down!
With the vinegar break in method it’s like I’m throwing a completely different bag. Feels great now, it’s sooo much more controllable, and like Mike said this bag just wants to go in the hole 🕳 I was worried at first but now I’m ecstatic I got this bag!
Hey Mike, I listened to your advice and purchased a set of Marilyn’s. They are amazing! Is there an ACL stamp equivalent to the Marilyn’s? Thanks again.
It seems to have a very similar speed, flop and holefriendlyness compared to the Gladiator Trident Pro VIII (even though the materials are different of course). Am I wrong about this? Great review- as usual 😊
I wouldn't call them similar just because this bag is a carpet bag and the Trident is not. The carpet will play consistent in all conditions whereas the Trident will be affected more by humidity. I would compare the Trident more to a Pro Sniper in terms of playability. The Marilyn is a completely different style bag.
@@MikesBags Thanks Mike 🙏 What made me thinking about the Trident during your review was the extrem flop, the crazy "grabing the hole" and that both bags have a larger template plus are really thin.
Finally had a chance to throw these over the weekend and man I could see why you loved these bags. Overall great feeling in hand. I must say the best I’ve had. Fill and playability is out of this world. Overall recommend and happy I purchased the bag. One of my top 5 bags to use. It was hot and humid so I feel like the bag slowed down a bit. Which was fine for me as it was easier to control. Thanks for the recommendation and looking forward to future reviews.
I just purchased a set of Marilyn’s today because of another great review by you Mike !!! Thanks again for all the effort you put in to your reviews they are very informative and I look forward to more each and every week. One question I have on this bag is what did you do to this particular bag to break it in just curious? Thanks
@@MikesBags thanks again. I couldn’t wait and bought a bunch of bags per your recommendation and joined Scoreholio’s 19.99 a year plan that you seemed to think was worthwhile
Yes but I have to buy a set first. There are a lot of new bags out right now. I have to stay within the budget. I will do a review on them at some point.
I will try B3 intimidator with his new 3 way blend Hy3er Blend. Carpet plays slower than listed. Overall great bag. The fast side is a rocket ship. Super fast.
To be honest, there isn't a good 3 speed material. Once you get slower than a 4 speed, it becomes almost impossible to push and collect bags. A bag that slow will not be hole friendly. You can make any of the 4 speed carpets play at a 3 speed by roughing up the carpet and getting them dirty. Take the bags outside and play on concrete or a rough, dirty surface. That will slow them way down. You would be better off getting a set of Slide Rites with the suede slow side if you want a slow bag.
Vinegar soak would be perfect for these. I used the OG Toss Sauce on mine but I didn't use hot water and I let them air dry. The bag maker says to not use heat on these bags.
Another ☝️ in the whole. Have looked and heard of this bag but was not certain how it played. Thanks for the review as I’ll have to try this out. Love the carpet color. I would check out Templar warmonger carpet with gen 3 fill. It’s super Whole friendly and plays a 6 speed in any condition. Highly recommend it. You will need to request the fill, just an fyi

Just ordered this bag last night. 100% respect your opinions on bags.
Awesome! Let me know how you like them.

Just ordered a set! Really excited to throw these especially when I break them in!

Great review as always Mike. You perked my interest. Just ordered a set!!
BigD bags cut me some patterns i was searching for. Can't wait to throw these
I have all three sets of Marilyn’s except that one, and I agree they are an awesome bag
Just recd a set today , not much hour glass shape as mikes bags , do you notice a diffrence your 3 sets ?
This is the bag speeds ive been waiting for a review of! My area just became tcl so its perfect. I cant wait to try this bag!!!
Very interested in this one- thank you, Mike!!
Hey Mike, I listened to your advice and purchased a set of Marilyn’s. They are amazing! Is there an ACL stamp equivalent to the Marilyn’s? Thanks again.
No, there is not. The closest bag is the Seva Slasher. It has the same slow side but a different fast side material.
@@MikesBags thanks for getting back with me
Hey Mike! Is there an ACL stamped bag that is similar to these ones? Thanks for all you videos! They’re awesome!
Seva Slaaher is the closest bag to these.
Thanks for the review mike!
What are some acl stamped bags you’d compare to this?
The only bag close is the Seva Slasher. It's uses the same slow side material but a different fast side.
Gonna order a set when available! Thanks for the review.
I bought the slasher from Mike and im a 4-5.5 speed bag player. To me the slow is a 7. This bag flys and it does slow down at all.
If you’re playing on sticky boards, there is no better bag than this one.
Hey Mike, really excited to get these!! Can you do a review on Gnarly Bags and Boards, Vanishes??
I do not have any Gnarly bags yet but they are on my list of bags to get. At some point, I plan to have a set to review.
It seems to have a very similar speed, flop and holefriendlyness compared to the Gladiator Trident Pro VIII (even though the materials are different of course). Am I wrong about this?

Great review. I've never seen you this excited about a bag!
😁 Some bags I just enjoy more than others.
Didn't care for this bag until it was broke in. One of the best all-around bags I have thrown. I understand why you like it so much.

I think I used Toss Sauce on mine. Probably the Carpet Muncher or the OG. I can't remember.
All sold out ,, i need a set mike lol
Big D Bags usually restocks bags on Fridays at 3pm CST.
Thanks for the info ! Definitely coping it
will there be more dude bags available...I was gonna buy them but they sold out.
Big D Bags will be restocking the website on Aug 18th. I'm not sure what bags will be restocked.

Any plans to do a review on the Creature from Cornhole Coastal ?
Yes but I have to buy a set first. There are a lot of new bags out right now. I have to stay within the budget. I will do a review on them at some point.

If you have a floppy bag is it that if you don't have a flat throw it would cut or jump to one side??
Floppy bags tend to kick less. The fuller bags have more bounce to them and that will lead to a kick if your throw isn't flat.
Mike what are some good carpet bags with a 3 3 half speedbags
Dead heads
Dead heads aren’t carpet and are nowhere near a 3 on either side.
@@milesmacful i read 3-3.5 didnt see carpet. But dead heads are close to a 3-3.5 when its broken in

What break in method did you use? Is a vinegar soak too much for them?

@@MikesBags you seemed more excited by these bags than I've seen in a while. I ordered them. Thnks
Mike what was your break in process on this bag? Thanks!
I used OG Toss Sauce in luke warm water and I let them air dry. The bag makers says to stay away from heat with these bags.
How can I get a set ?

Zero. I don't get paid for these reviews. In fact, I paid to do the review. I had to purchase these bags. Thanks for watching.
Disrespect Mike's Bags - get burned. Instant karma.
How can I get a set ?
There is a link in the video description to the Big D Bags website. I believe the site is restocked every Friday at 3pm central time.
