I'm a Honda fanboy, but I'm keeping an eye on the 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan S. From what I've seen, which isn't much, the bike has a sportbike engine, nakedbike look, and cruiser ergonomic.
@@kinderjoker I took a quick look at the 500SE on the Kawasaki site. 380 lb curb weight I'm happy with, but 30.9" seat height is tall. I'm 5'-6" with a 30" inseam. 30.5" and taller, I struggle. For comparison, a Vulcan S current listed seat height is 27.8".
@ I think I looked at the wrong 500SE. The Eliminator seat is 28.9". So far, the lower MSRP [of the Eliminator] is winning. I also prefer the smaller engine for better mpg. Both are highway-worthy so I'm not worried about engine sizes in that sense.
I like my ZX4RR in town because of the smoothness. I owned an MT07 and traded it for this bike. No regrets. I liked the torque of the MT07 for a while then got board with it. I'm more of a B road rider out in the country. I'm just too old to wheelie any more. I accidentally whisky throttled my MT07 once and it about through me off the back.
You should try the z900, I have the 2020 model and it's like riding on glass. Some people say it's too linear and predictable but that's why I love it. Also has good top end for a naked (150mph) 🤷
2024 SFV4s grey/nero here. I was almost buying the Pani but I come from sports bikes and am bored of it to be honest. On the track they are the only choice. On the road, they are a big compromise. The SFV4s in grey looks sick, in person far better than the Pani IMO. Better mid range, WAY better ergos. I do 8+ hours at weekend in the saddle. Wind isn’t an issue until 200+ kmph, you can just tuck after that. It’s a bonkers bike, 208horses, I have 95% of the sports bikes- bye 👋 🏍️ 💨 I have a sports bike for the track and that’s were she stays, horrible ergos after 45mins, crappy slow control, less flickable on the twisties , HOT 🔥. In my 20s I found the ergos crappy, I’d never admit it though 🙄😬 Greetings from 🇮🇪 Ireland CYCLECRUZA
My Naked bike Yamaha FZ-07 has a windscreen, tank bag, side cases and a top case with luggage rack . That cost me $2,500.00 to add all of those acessories .. Also crash bars
Every bike has its charm. Naked bikes: easier maintenance, more comfortable seating position, engine tuned for low and mid range power, you can absolutely track them, and with the right accessories, you can have a commuter bike and even tour if you like. Some are even set up as scramblers. Jack of all trades, master of none.
I have long been sold on naked bikes. My second bike was a 2011 Kawasaki z750R. I bought it in 2014 while you still rode your CBR600/1000RR. Yes been subscribed to your channel that long. I owned my Z750R it for 7 years. My biggest gripe with naked bikes is the lack of wind protection at speeds above 150km/h. And hell no the Kawasaki Z H2 is the baddest, sexiest looking hyper naked on the market!
So awesome to see a long time viewer. I appreciate you. Man we go way back. lol The naked bikes were not as flashy cool way back like they are now. The Z H2 is a beast, not the least bit sexy but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once you throw a leg over the bike the looks don't matter much. I'd love to test ride one but you hardly ever see one and I doubt they would let me test ride one, the dealerships are so lame about that around here.
@@CycleCruza At the time I wondered why naked bikes were not popular in the US. Glad to see the US has come around to the beauty of naked bikes over the years. While I owned the Z750R, I owned a 2010 Triumph 675 Daytona but got rid of it after a few months. Super-sport bikes will always have their place but a naked bike (or a half-faired cousin like a Tracer 900) will always be in my stable.
My first bike was a Suzuki boulevard with no windshield. It was nice to have the wind at my chest but after buying an FJR, I’m converted. I’d ride a naked bike for a day or even a weekend. Hell even a 2 week motorcycle journey. But to own 1 motorcycle, I need something with fairings and a windshield. My windshield is electric and I can open my visor and just cruise propped up on my elbow
I dunno. I get so many complements on my bike. I also get so many people asking me to do a wheelie… which is annoying because I normally have my traction control and everything on when I am riding…
Yeah I have gotten many compliments. I even had a dude ask me if he could take a pic of bike when I was downtown. I think the best looking nakeds are made by MV Agusta but I would never trust the reliability of them.
I bought a used Honda CB500F that came with an aftermarket wind shield and heated grips. The soft suspension smoothes potholes out to nothing. I ride mostly on the street, and it is perfect for that.
CycleCruza ya wrong bout 1 thing. The looks do matter. When you see a beautiful supersport in the garage you just get the urge to go for a ride and if you're going for a ride you'll be in a much better mood cuz you love the look of your bike before you even swing a leg over it. Then there's the look back factor, as I guarantee when you're on a supersport say a R6 you're definitely gonna look back at least once as you walk away from it when you get where you're going. I'm not saying all naked bikes are beautiful looking, but I'd say more than a few have that look back factor that people will most definitely love.
Eh beauty is in the eye of the beholder though. I think the MV Agusta naked bikes are the prettiest and Ducati makes some sick looking naked bikes. What good does looks do for you when riding in an uncomfortable race riding position just for the sake of looks doesn't make sense to me anymore. Honestly, if they had all of these amazing naked bikes back when I first started I probably would have never got a cbr600rr and cbr1000rr. Back then the naked bikes were a bit lame and a lot more riders were on sportbikes. However, I will say that I only could keep one bike it would be a supermoto, so much more fun and versatile.
@@CycleCruza It's hard to admit but looks do matter when it comes to most things. Sometimes I open my door to the garage just to see the bike for a few seconds, I know it's crazy... I had many bikes and with some I never took a second look when walking away from the bike. For example riders change mirrors on their bikes not because the new mirrors are more functional but because they look better, cleaner look :) Most people would love to experience a sport bike no matter what they say deep down they would love to sit on in for a minute or two.
@thehomeless_trucker Which is why you shouldn't buy a bike you don't wanna ride. Still there will always be riders who know how to ride that'll choose an less comfortable riding position for a truly beautiful supersport. As for me I love an aggressive rider triangle, so my R6 is perfect for me.
@Frank_Torre Almost everyone gives up the Supersport at some point specifically because they suck to ride.... lol sure, they look cool, but unless you're 22, you're wanting to turn back around in less than an hour. I'd say if you love your r6, you're a straight line highway pull rider
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder! I love the kawasaki styling. Just picked up a '24 Z900 absolutely loving it, it's so smooth and short gearing is fun in town. It's gonna be my do it all sport bike I plan on taking it to the track and out for canyon runs.
I generally agree with striple take, regarding the lights. But, it has gorgeous aggressive yet smooth body lines. Have you seen striple with single round headlight conversion? Best looking naked on the planet, hands down.
I agree 💯 for me there are only two bikes : Naked bike if you drive on the tarmac and dirt bike if you drive off-road 🤷🏻♂️ I just have a naked Duke because I don't drive off-road
It's not so much the wind that's an issue on the highway it's when you live in an area that you have a 20 mph head wind or side wind that fatigues you real fast. Naked bike's are awesome for commuting and city cruises and as you and I believe looks are in the eyes of beholder
I rode my former 290 lb little WR250R on the highways in OH, CO and WY. I rode it up and down Pikes Peak and in windy azz Wyoming and never had an issue with the wind bothering me on my bike. However, if you are touring the wind can get irritating beating miles for hours on the highway. However, I'm not one for touring.
@CycleCruza I had a wr250r that I just sold it was an awesome bike.. I lied in eastern Washington state in the middle of wheat farm land and constant wind some days was awesome and others 30 mph side wind not so fun lol every where you go in that area is 60 mph speed limit. Also had an xr650l it was much better because of 340 pond weight.. the worst part was passing a semi going the other way
I want to buy myself an MT-07, but every video i watch about it - is a guy riding 45 mph and telling me how this bike is awesome. It looks like it's not meant to ride far on an open roads. So buying this bike you cage yourself to city riding only? I assume MT-09 SP 2022 is much more all-around bike than this MT-07?
The beauty of the MT-07 is its bottom end torque, it is a really punchy bike, so slower speeds are very enjoyable to ride. If you are mostly riding around the city and country it is the perfect bike. I did several reviews on the bike, it does just fine on the highway. I owned a 2020 MT-09 and did not care for it, I loved the CP3 engine though. I know the new MT-09 is better but it still doesn't have the laid back chill feel of the MT-07. Imo, you can't go worng with any of the MT bikes, they are all great for street riding. I just love how compact and small the MT-07 feels and it is lighter weight than the MT-09, I got my MT-07 down to 387 lbs. ua-cam.com/video/-WxYmeCg6qc/v-deo.html
I own a 2015 fz-07 and an 2023 MT-09 SP and the 09 is hands down the better bike. Better tech, better suspension, better looks & more power. However, after a few months I found myself riding the 07 a lot more. I guess it depends on what kind of riding you like to do. Lately, I've been enjoying cruising around in the city and popping wheelies here and there. When I go on longer rides out of town to hit the twisties, I take the 09.
I like nakeds cause of the riding position, but the wind sucks. if and when I buy again, I'd probably go for a lightweight touring or lightweight adventure.
Man I love naked bikes... I got a 2022 CF Moto 650 NK (Kawasaki ER6N clone) for $3999 and $5400 out the door. Such a great bike for the price. Had a 2022 Yamaha R3 and love that bike also but working on a naked is so much easier and convenient. I'm on board with the naked type bikes. So torquey and balanced. Wind isn't doesn't bother me at all. I actually like it.. lol
I don’t see what everyone else see’s .. I think there are only a handful of “ugly” naked bikes. Most of them look good especially the MT-07, MT-09 & the whole Kawasaki Z Series
Luckily looks are subjective. For instance, I have a 2024 Street Triple RS and I think it's an amazing looking naked bike. It's also arguably the best performing in its category. I also think the Aprilia tuono is a beautiful bike. I think the 2024 MT-09 is ugly. I had a 2020 MT09 and I think it's the best looking generation. The Z900 is a horrible purchase in my opinion not because it looks meh but because of its poor performance compared to the other in its category. People can say naked bikes are ugly but in almost every aspect that matters they're better than sport bikes on the road.
naked bikes ,or streetfighters came out of necessity in late 90is just like choppers in the 50is or coffee racers in the 70is , stated with bike like classic gsxr 1100 85 ,crash the bike broke the ferigs , or buy a cheap bike with broken feriks , bodge a single front light , some dude want to do welly and tricks , so they add off road bars , and chop the tall of the bike ,, and big manifacture pick up on the trend and by mid 2000 they start making neked bikes ,
Good torque but they are the heaviest motorcycles that negates some of that torque. However, the one Harley I rode, a 2015 Harley Breakout felt slower than my former Chinese scooter off the line. That bike turned me off of Harleys.
I love naked. I have had a naked cb300f. I meow have a naked cb500f. Meow i want a naked cb1000 hornet, or a naked mt 10. Thats in the near smurfing future.
Eh to each his/her own. The beautiful thing is we have so many different bikes for everybody's preferences. I just love to see folks on motorcycles regardless of the type of bike. Stay safe and enjoy the ride!
I love the Z-H2. Beast naked bike. Like looking at a pitbull. I'd have one if the insurance wasn't so insane for me. But the Triumphs bug-eyes, yea, way too ugly imo.
Yeah it is a beast of a bike and they made it look like a beast too. lol I just wish the Japanese companies would hire some designers from Italy to make their bikes more beautiful and less robotic looking.
1969 Honda 750 Four...Universal Japanese Motorcycle...called a "Standard." Modern Bike Manufacturers come up with these stupid class names. Just ride the F@ckin' thang!

It’s a bonkers bike, 208horses, I have 95% of the sports bikes- bye 👋 🏍️ 💨
I have a sports bike for the track and that’s were she stays, horrible ergos after 45mins, crappy slow control, less flickable on the twisties , HOT 🔥.
In my 20s I found the ergos crappy, I’d never admit it though 🙄😬
Greetings from 🇮🇪 Ireland CYCLECRUZA
I love that music man! 😂 Fairings wear boots from Black Sabbath! Yeah you got to believe it!
My Naked bike Yamaha FZ-07 has a windscreen, tank bag, side cases and a top case with luggage rack . That cost me $2,500.00 to add all of those acessories .. Also crash bars
Nice! That is another great thing the MT-07 is there are tons of accessories and they are readily available because the bike is so extremely popular.
The airstream is the worst for me. It's amazing what difference a little fairing makes. Not only in terms of comfort but also the top speed.
I hate the term "naked" being used. Most bikes have no fairings. The term "standard" bike is the right term
Yeah I guess that term is used better for marketing and to gain interest. Standard bike sound too boring. lol
Thank you
Naked is more sport oriented. Streetfighter is a sports bike with no fairings. Standard is a traditional styled bike.
Except that bikes with that seating position are NOT standard. Standard is like a triumph t100, Honda sc, royal Enfield, etc.
I have in my life heard anyone call their bike a "standard".@logangodofcandy
For example riders change mirrors on their bikes not because the new mirrors are more functional but because they look better, cleaner look :)
Most people would love to experience a sport bike no matter what they say deep down they would love to sit on in for a minute or two.
You may love the look, but you still won't ride it much if you hate the ride on your "beautiful" bike. How it rides is more important.
Naked bikes are not ugly. They are just different. BTW, I think the Kawaski ZH2 is better looking than the MT09 or the MT07.
The yellow bike on the thumbnail looks niceee
Yeah for street naked is the best, And for proper off-road fun a dirt bike. 👍
Good afternoon mr. C. C. And all.
Other women say that women these days are ridiculous today.
Here in this days in age hackers are crazy to hurt people information, and scammers too, ew!
I like nakeds cause of the riding position, but the wind sucks. if and when I buy again, I'd probably go for a lightweight touring or lightweight adventure.
My mt-09 gets told it's ugly but my r3 gets compliments all the time. I love sport bikes but naked bikes are so much more comfortable
Cyclecruza should get the Vitpilen 701 , bike with style 🙋♂️
Sounds like he "hated dealing with fairies" 😂 Couldn't tell he said "fairings"
Can you give your thoughts on the Honda cbr650 E-Clutch ?
Maybe it's from riding dirt bikes as a kid but I like a bike with grunt in the bottom end.
The best looking naked bike is the Triumph Trident 660. I’ll die on this hill haha.
"Sport Heritage" naked bikes are really beautiful tho like the Honda CB and Yamaha XSR 😘🤌
I actually like it.. lol
Yeah the CFMoto bikers are a great bang for your buck. I need to get some test rides on the CFMotos.
My Ducati V4 has more bottom then most of those nakeds. Try it out.
Naked is ok until it gets cold
I don’t see what everyone else see’s .. I think there are only a handful of “ugly” naked bikes. Most of them look good especially the MT-07, MT-09 & the whole Kawasaki Z Series
My victory motorcycle 2007 had both horsepower and torque
Luckily looks are subjective. For instance, I have a 2024 Street Triple RS and I think it's an amazing looking naked bike. It's also arguably the best performing in its category. I also think the Aprilia tuono is a beautiful bike. I think the 2024 MT-09 is ugly. I had a 2020 MT09 and I think it's the best looking generation. The Z900 is a horrible purchase in my opinion not because it looks meh but because of its poor performance compared to the other in its category. People can say naked bikes are ugly but in almost every aspect that matters they're better than sport bikes on the road.
The GSX 8S looks ok
Hey CycleCruza what do you think about women riders? It seems majority of them are riding also for the attention..
naked bikes ,or streetfighters came out of necessity in late 90is just like choppers in the 50is or coffee racers in the 70is , stated with bike like classic gsxr 1100 85 ,crash the bike broke the ferigs , or buy a cheap bike with broken feriks , bodge a single front light , some dude want to do welly and tricks , so they add off road bars , and chop the tall of the bike ,, and big manifacture pick up on the trend and by mid 2000 they start making neked bikes ,
1:31 dont we all?
Bottom end grunt is right at the bottom.. ok
The mt bikes are not ugly
Harley Davidson is the King of Torque..
Good torque but they are the heaviest motorcycles that negates some of that torque. However, the one Harley I rode, a 2015 Harley Breakout felt slower than my former Chinese scooter off the line. That bike turned me off of Harleys.
@@CycleCruza 2015 was about 50 years ago in motorcycle years. Maybe you should try again. They may have something you like.
I love naked. I have had a naked cb300f. I meow have a naked cb500f. Meow i want a naked cb1000 hornet, or a naked mt 10. Thats in the near smurfing future.
Naked bikes and supermotos rule the streets!
Not a fan of the looks of naked/standard plastic bikes. Cruiser. Get you a Triumph T-120.
Sport bikes and baggers are objectively ugly.
I love my '24 XSR900. Looks cool and has that triple, yummy...
Double R 😂
Looks like your in 650ib neighborhood
NE Ohio, Cleveland and surrounding suburbs.
@CycleCruza that's where he lives I think,he has a big house, nice vid my man,I've been watching you for yrs thanks
1969 Honda 750 Four...Universal Japanese Motorcycle...called a "Standard." Modern Bike Manufacturers come up with these stupid class names. Just ride the F@ckin' thang!
Like your ktm 690 super moto
The ugliest!! Ever bike y see😂😂😂
My KTM 690 SMC R looks sick to me, I've gotten a lot of compliments with that bike. I actually think it looks better than my YZ450FX supermoto.
