This video is wonderful. Lovely trains.
great video. great finish of seeing 80010 and 43002 and 43138 is going to scotrail
Thanks very much for saying so I'm glad you found this enjoyable. That's the first unbranded power car I've managed to film so far, I'm sure that there will be others cropping up
its ok. well when they go to scotrail from plymouth they normally go up staight but with this HST it dosnet
Brilliant video at Bath spa very enjoyable. Great catch of the class 60 and 43002 at the end.
Thanks very much I'm glad you found this enjoyable :) I was dead chuffed to catch 43002 at the end of the film. Definitely wasn't expecting to catch that one
Have been to the city of Bath twice and both times it has impressed me. I remember on the 2nd occasion catching a 158 from Bristol Temple Meads and then making the return journey on a HST.
The city itself is marvellous to look at and travel through. I've had a similar experience expect I had an 800 from Bristol then took a HST onwards to Chippenham
I was on the late 150246 and we passed most station on the way to Westbury apart from bath Spa and also westbury then it resumed to Normal service
Can you please go to Keynsham and Oldfield Park? They are the intermediate stations between Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads
I can give you one reason as to why Bath Spa was named as it is. It was to avoid confusion with Bath Green Park on the long since closed Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway just a little fun fact Jarred for more info on The S&DJR you can find it on google it can explain more than i can fit in the comment section but let's say that not even this delightful line was immune from Dr Beeching's Axe which fell on The 7th of March 1966.
I will certainly look into it and give it a thorough reading for my own knowledge so thank you for that :) Dr Beeching certainly has a lot to answer for in regards to a lot of Britain's railways. However in saying that it appears as if a lot of the former lines are gradually begin reinstated which is great to see
You're Welcome Jarred that and The S&DJR is immortalised in Ivo Peter's 16mm film collection i think they can be found on ebay.
All I have to say is, F@#king Beautiful just stunning. Thanks for the calm! B.P.
It really is a great place to come to, full of amazing scenery and history
Glad it stayed through the thick and thin. Thanks again for your work! B.P.
I found bath city station on wednesday
GWR livery is spot on, as is Grand Central. The rest, well, meh.
Bath is one of my favourite cities.
Nice vid.
Thanks very much for saying so I'm glad you enjoyed this, in terms of liveries I feel like EMT has the most striking of any TOC currently.
Would the wide gap between the platforms be due to Brunel's broad gauge running through there originally?
The gap is somewhat smaller now after modernisation work took place last year in April.
If you pause at 10 42, how good does it look with 43002 in the sun with Bath providing a beautiful backdrop?, smashing film as always, Certainly going to go there some day. Thumbs up from me as always Jared.
It does look incredible in the sunlight, definitely one of the better liveries currently on a HST. I'm glad you enjoyed watching this and hopefully you'll have a good time when you come up here
Good video tornado this is another place I want to do trains at :) sorry don't know your proper name
Thanks very much for saying so I'm glad you found this enjoyable :) It's ok you don't need to apologise
can I ask what is it that makes such an annoying noise when the train leaves
Don't the class 60s form Caledonian Sleepers trains from London to Scotland
7:40 the 165 was not going to Gloucester
Tornado922 how Gloucester is up north and the train was going down south
Keiran Clarke because it was coming from Southampton or Weymouth which is down south and it gets to Bristol Temple Meads then the driver will switch cabs then it will go out the same way it came but not on the same route which will go via Bristol Parkway to get to Gloucester
2:13 voice crack
Y do the class 800 work in pairs
Sion's Train Videos plus y do they mix up the green set with blue coaches
cause lol the train would be overcrowded but they do have a 9 cars thats one big train
I think tommorow I will give you a shoutout and tell my subscribers to subscribe to you.
Very enjoyable video Jarred at a fantastic location. I remember visiting Bath with my junior school in the 1970s and it was fabulous even then. We even took in a visit to the Roman Baths which was absolutely awesome, regards Gary.
Thank you kindly for saying so I'm glad you found this enjoyable, It's a great station to come and the city is great in it's own rights. There is plenty to see and do here that could easily keep someone busy over the course of a weekend. I have yet to see the Roman Baths myself but I am looing forward to having the chance at some stage in the future :)
