You're right! There shouldn't be events like this designed for nothing but pure fun with dirtbikes. I went for 2 days and I was disappointed to see no motodads or motomoms screaming at their kids. I didn't see any crying from riders. I didn't see any protests. I didn't see people heart attack serious about their results. I even saw people not going 110% while 'racing' but having fun instead. Damn, everyone I saw was laughing and smiling! Take me back to an Amateur National so I can see people losing their minds and finances chasing a pipe dream.
