Excellent! Gramma will be proud of you keeping busy. I went to work the day my Dad died. He would have haunted me for being lazy otherwise. R.I.P gramma

May your Grandma rest in peace. And may a higher power, God, Bigfoot, jellyfish or whatever help you and your family get thru this time of sorrow.
Much Luv from the Deep Deep South of Cajun Country.
    Peace,
    Rx.

POR-15 Makes a kit to clean up and seal in any crap in the tank and your good to go.
Best part is you can keep the rust on the outside
    Sorry for your loss...

I'll be watching this with interest. I am especially interested in how you fix the fishmouth. As you said it is a common affliction. :) BTW what is title and artist of the music?

I would not call that seat "crap-tastic" for a "Ratbike" Rokon that thing is AWESOME. If there is a way to have a good strong clear coat over the rust to protect the metal from further abuse I would go that route so that it shows it's battle scars while functioning.

I hope it was free. That thing was a lawn ornament for sure.

Could us some advice. I've just finished a complete restoration of a '69 Trailbreaker that looked a lot like this one. It looks and runs great now. One thing I haven't been able to do is remove the plugs from the wheels. I don't want to damage them, but they're stuck real bad. Any thoughts?

Pb blaster and a grade 8 washer. You might have to shave the washer down slightly

@@GoUnoGo Many thanks for the advice. The PB blaster didn't get to the threads because of the o-ring seal, and while I tried the washer, I just couldn't break the corroded threads loose. What I ended up doing was to use a small end mill in a dremel tool to increase the depth of the slot so that it was uniform across it's length. This allowed a screw driver socket to be used with an impact wrench. This finally broke both plugs free. It trashed the existing plugs, but I was able to buy new ones from Rokon. Again, thanks for taking the time to make a recommendation.

I'll never understand leavin rust on any vehicle, it's ugly and makes it look like the owner couldn't care less about it....otherwise, the Rokon is a very capable bike....🤘🏻🇺🇸
