Please warn listeners that the story of the child is horrific. I only listened thinking it was going to have a profound outcome but it didn't seem to. Utterly depressing and heartbreaking- and I work with abused/neglected kids in children's services so I technically should be more immune. Not so. Thanks for all you do Lee.
I came here looking for a beautiful story to give me peace and faith in Gods love but I don’t think I will listen to this one after your comment. It might tip me over the edge. Thank you 🙏
Great discussion. I think it helps to connect these and all nde's with obe's, deep meditation experiences, deep prayer experiences, spiritually significant experiences, dream experiences, quantum physics knowledge and our own consciousness revealing to us. We can combine all these experientially transformative experiences and learn the greater knowledge of truth. That is..We are spiritual beings - not material. Life is eternal. Death is not real. In fact its impossible to (actually) die. We are all ONE. We can never truly be separate from God. We are on an eternal journey of growth and learning. So we can just let go and let love take us forever.
Thank you Lee for sharing more information about dNDEs! I really appreciate you doing this. Please continue to share more about these types of experiences.
It might be helpful to look at an NDE as an "acid trip." People experienced with that substance report that the outcome of the experience is all about "set and setting." If before ingesting, the experiencer had anxiety, fear, depression, or an exam for university the next day, the experience is more likely to be unpleasant. Another way to look at an NDE might be as an out of body experience 'obe". in an obe, one can visit heavens or hell worlds or anything in between. Also, the traveller is exposed to entities of good or evil alignment or anything in between. One such entity is known as the "dweller on the threshold." Its sole purpose is to feed of the fear of first time experiencers. It has the ability to create illusions and confusion. .It communicates through telepathy and can send extremely convincing thoughts in the form of narratives, convictions, and delusions. There is nothing to read into the experience. It does not reflect on your moral character or psychological development. It's random, like being killed by a drunk driver. That's all. Nothing to read into it. The Dweller has been described in literature on the subject. I'm no expert on NDEs or OBEs, but I've experienced both. My response is based on this as well as what I've read.
Hi Lee, I was wondering if you could help me. I'm so passionate about NDE stories. I'd like to start a new youtube channel in which I narrate NDEs from the IANDS website, much like yourself. I have written to them using their contact form but got no response so far. I was wondering if narrating NDEs from the IANDS website, and then discussing them, constitutes "fair use?" If not, would you be willing or able to assist me in maybe getting permission? Thanks so much for your consideration.
