Personally, the only time in my life when I felt true peace, and for the first time cried out of happiness was when I found religion, Christianity specifically, And no I’m not forcing my beliefs on you, but person to person, any comfort anyone gives you never satisfies, and you always end up back in a foggy state of mind. The Lord loves you and wants you with him in heaven. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so you could have life, not just to live but to have abundantly, meaning he wants you to live your life happy and satisfied with him, not just survive in a cruel world like this. I don’t hate my life I just want to go home. I love my life and family so much! I never plan on actually killing myself but I have been injuring myself since I was 4. When I started it was more innocent than what I do now. Now I have a collection of broken glass and I slash it against my arms or legs. Although I know it’s not correct I still do it and have injured myself on purpose in multiple ways and multiple places. I’m not saying that what I do is correct or anything like that but I can’t stop.
@@Sunshine_has__love you need to start seeing yourself the way God does, He created you in his own image, and self harm is a sin and addiction like any other, it’s okay to ask for help. Instead of coping your pain with self harm or music or suicide videos, you need to ask God for help, God is good and that’s enough. When I was at my lowest, he reminded me to have faith. And I felt better even if I was struggling with sin. He will not reject you if you ask for help, you need to have faith he will save you and he will, this isn’t a road we’re supposed to walk alone. I personally struggled with SH as well, and I no longer do it. If I can you can too. The closer you are to God the louder his voice will be, so even through doubt, even through self hatred, even through fear, faith is something you need to hold onto. when you find your faith fading it is merely a sign that your strength is being tested. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Know that the struggle against doubt is not a sign that you are failing him, but rather a testament to your determination to grow closer to him. I actually went to a sermon yesterday with my mother, we seen the famous pastor Greg Lock, and he said a lot of amazing things, He spoke about how one of his coworker came into his office and asked to pray for him and he agreed. His coworker asked if he could lay his hand on the small of his back, even though it was an odd request, Greg accepted. It was a normal prayer in English, nothing special. And in the middle of the prayer his coworker stopped, and asked him “what’s his name?” Greg didn’t know what he was talking about, until he said, “the man that molested you when you were 12.” And he went on to speak about how three days later, the man that did that to him, got cancer, and Greg personally came to the hospital he was at, to pray for his molester. This story hit me like a truck when he told it, it almost seems impossible to forgive someone for such a thing. But with the Lord, nothing is impossible, you can forgive those who’ve done you wrong, you can stop your addiction to self harm, and you can grow closer to the Lord and hear his voice clearer, to get a better understanding of who he really is. Psalm 71:20-21 Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once more. Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Christ is our firm foundation, submit to him in all your ways and he will make your paths straight. Ask him to open your eyes and your ears, ask him for help with everything you’re struggling with, even the small things. Cast your anxiety onto him because he cares for you. Us humans can never be satisfied, and we can’t help ourselves, But God can because all things are possible with God. Addiction, self hatred, depression, anxiety, this like this can be spirits. If they are demonic spirits you need to cast them out in the name of Jesus, and if they aren’t, you just need some help.
