Red Sea Coral Pro VS Reef Crystals - Big Three test

The new TMC Reef Habitat comes tomorrow and thought I'd do a ALK/CA/MG test comparison of the Red Sea Coral Pro vs Reef Crystals.
I use Reef Crystals at the minute but heard good reviews about the Coral Pro - so thought I'd give it a go in the new tank!
This Video compares Alkalinity / Magnesium / Calcium levels using Salifert Test Kits.

You should mix your coral pro for 3 days before testing. There are many articles on this to get most accurate reading

Hey - stopped using RS Coral Pro after the first bucket, Tropic Marin Pro Reef is what I've been using since!

@@sweetcoraline4906 what issues did you have with the RS Coral Pro to change to Tropic Marine? How are you finding the TM salt? Thanks

@@K_I_S_G I found the RS salt parameters too out of line for where I comfortably like to keep my tank, ALK was too high for my preference.
The Tropic Marin salt is perfect;
- Mixes clear really quickly
- Is able to be stored in batches for a decent amount of time
- Alk is closer to the lower range (I've never had issues with lower ALK but I've had problems with higher)
- Each bucket of salt has been very consistent with tested levels
