Amazing test. The one thing that changed now is that new Esprit Alpine version has 160hp EDC engine which makes this car semi-sporty and you can change gears manually if you wish. Funny thing, in a sport mode the car goes 9s to 100km/h but even a casual driver like me can achieve 7,5s by changing gears manually in a sport mode which is bonkers for me and more than I would need from that car :D
I think in future the americans get Renault but now USA is not ready for this small engines i think in Europa we have big gas prices and tax of gasoline Edit: 3 taxes for Gasoline 😂
Thank you for the great review, it's the best review for the Arkana I could find online in combination with your other review about the interuor and exterior. I hope to get the car in 2 or 3 weeks.
A fabulous video. Thank you so much for a brilliant review. After watching your great video review of the latest version of the Dacia Duster, I ordered it immedately after being offerd a great price for my current Duster, just turned three years old with 42,000 miles on the clock. I was so looking forward to receiving it, until I saw this video. I've now changed my order to the Arkana 1.6 hybrid automatic, in Valencia Orange. I'm 73 years old, and dont know how long I'll be able to go on our motoring adventures, but with this gorgeous looking car, I'll be able to do it in style. This is beautiful car which will be a pleasure to drive. You've made an old man very happy. But you're also a bugger, for making me spend an extra £20,000 GBP to get it .. ;-)
Thanks for this great review. I have one on order, and it is currently being shipped from the factory in South Korea. I did a test drive for 2 days and really liked the hybrid engine.
Loved your review of the Arkana so much that I have just ordered the 1.3ltr mild hybrid RS-Line in Black. Like you I just loved everything about this car from the great shape and look to the RS-Line full leather upholstery. The only trouble is now I have to wait up to 12 weeks before I get it, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Great work again. Thank you. 🙂👍
@@SDADanCars at the video i saw 4.5 l and in the video description you said 4.9l/100 km. So i got confused what is the consumption for the etech hybrid. Please tell me the combined consumption and if is it possible the consumption at highway speeds above 100kms per hour. Thanks in advance and many greetings from Greece.
This is a very interesting car, i m looking for an suv and this car seems really nice. You can get one for 34k euro here in Italy, only the new tucson might make me change decision
@@SDADanCars But D it also charges the battery when the gas is released. I don't quite understand if I'm only going to drive an automatic for the first time
In Russia, you can get the Arkana with 4WD. The engine is a 1.3 litre turbo making around 150 horsepower. But if you want 4WD, you have to have it with an xTronic CVT which is horrid.
Important to know is, that the Russian Arkana is built on the B0+ platform used for eg. the Duster , the European version is built on the CMF-B platform used for eg. Captur. Also, the European version is 25mm longer than is't Russian counterpart. The interior is also very different as is the technology on board. Yes, the Russian Arkana has 4-wheel drive, but it's limited. Most of the time you drive front wheel-drive. You have a switch to go 4x4 when driving offroad or in the snow, but the differential returns to 2x4 once you drive approximately 70km/h. At least that's what I understood from Russian vloggers about the Arkana. nevertheless, it's a great looking car and drives really good 👍

Very informative as usual. You manage to inject good amount of emotion into your reviews which is quite unique.

Thanks Sean my friend for feedback 👍🙏🙂The car it is very good and wort the wait 👍
12 weeks is very good considering chip shortage. I ordered Etech 1.6 hybrid and have to wait 4-5 months.
what do you say about the armrest, is it well padded? That was always a shortcoming in the Megane
I bought this car after your review!
Cool 👍 it is a nice car
Great review! Thanks
Dan, how are ya. Seriously considering one of these, I drove it and it felt fine. What do you think? Good replacement for my 2018 Passat
Great video. Would you say Volkswagen has a better lane centering than this car? Worse? The same?
Pau I think little better with latest Travel Assist 👍
@@SDADanCars I haven't tried it yet. Just LKA in Touran.
👍you should go for a test drive
Arkana hybrid or C-hr hybrid?
Can't decide.
Hard to say.....I like Arkana and have also a better price
It's a pity that there is no rs line in s. Korea.
Yes 😪
Hi what was your fuel consumptions? Thanks
Around 7l Daniel 👍

Corolla Hybrid vs Renault Arkana hybrid?
defo buying this
🙂👍
Is there only one temperaturezone in it?
Marcus I can't remember but i think yes 👍
Yes there is only one temp control dial so I have to boil next to a freezing wife 😃
What is Differenz in getribe D/B. For what is B
B mode is for regeneration energy back to battery and is like 1 pedal drive....the car will brake when you take out the foot of acceleration 👍

I would've done the same 😁
Hello what would you recommend as an engine for this car? Hybrid or mild hybrid 140?
I think Hybrid will be better Bogdan👍
