Hello Mr T, I just picked up a CASH COWS comp (1981) over the weekend and it has everything in it. I`ve also been listening to the odd soundtracks I`ve accumulated. Nice Video.
Hey Tony, every man (and woman) needs that bit of alone time… essential for a healthy relationship 😎 I don’t really collect compilations now, but like you that’s what we always had growing up. Can’t beat a good comp! Never heard that Al Kooper, but that copy has seen some serious parties! I heard Breakfast in America loads growing up… my dad was a massive Supertramp fan. Great video, Jack
@@TheVinylVoyage-ud3uf jack… i think you are right. Maybe that alone time helped us reach 48 years as a married couple. Lol. Yes comps is the best bang for your buck, imho. I bet everyone who watched this video has the Supertramp album. Thanks for stopping over and commenting.
Hey Tony. Very good selections. Rita , Kris and Kenny I still have.I never owned the others but they're also very good. Helpme and Why me Lord, Elvis recorded also in 73 or 74. I've had 3 copy of Rita's in my life. She has done a beautiful cover of Nobody wins as does Frank Sinatra. I much preferred the First Addition years for Kenny. Gatlin said he wrote Help me on a bus while at a crossroads in his life, Elvis covered it for the same reasons it was said. Thanks brother, my best to the Queen.
Thank you for stopping and commenting. Thank you for the back ground information too. Much of which i didn’t know. Rita Coolidge is such a fine artist. Many VCers should have her in their collection. Kenny Rogers with the first edition was so good too. Thanks again
Well at least I can say I had your final album Tony, I thought I was going to strike out lol. I love compilations, they open up new doors to us musically.
I'm Still at times "Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In" Thanks for the Rita mention. Just discovered the Supertramp cover fairly recently. Hope you and yours are welll! Happy Halloween
Hey hey Tony, how are you my friend? Thanks for this, the only one I have in these is Supertramp, I will definitely keep an eye out for these, love Kenny, Kris, Rita… Thanks again 🎶🙏🏼
I like the first and 2nd Rita LP's the best ! The one you're showing us a good one, too ! Same with the first two First Edition albums are my favorites as well. Interesting to see that Al Kooper album, I haven't seen and listened to that since way back.. Nice albums, Tony 🎵
Now I really need to listen ! it's been since the last century that I heard it, and I'm thinking it was in the 80's. I remember that it's good, I never see it anywhere !
I have a real passion for Al Kooper’s first solo lp. “I Stand Alone”. It’s a kinda all over the place effort but still worthwhile. As always you succeed!🖖🚀
@@rikstrange662 i don’t have that album but it will go on my list. I’m a fan of al kooper too Thank you fir stopping over and commenting Hope all is well at the perfumed gardens.
Awesome video Tony! I will definitely pick up that Rita, Kris, or Kenny next time I go digging if I find a nice copy. I have one Rita Coolidge album but it’s not that one. I have two Kenny albums after that original time period. Take care my friend!
I agree the First Edition LP has a great sound. I see Al Kooper albums all the time nut never that one. Your first and fifth are in my collection, maybe I'll go diggin' today🍻
@@thatoldgoatsvinyl Don.. i need to go digging today too. If you find the Al Kooper album. I think you’ll enjoy it. I think you are one if the few that have that First Edition album. Cheers my friend.
Morton… always a pleasure hearing from you. Yes that seems to be the trend. I knew that going in. Thank you stopping by and commenting. Hope all is well.
Tony Perla basement cover fund LOL! Lots of interesting albums. I love Why Me Lord. I first heard the song when Elvis had J.D. Sumner sing it during the 74 tour. I forget what venue it was, but I still get the chills when I hear it or see it on UA-cam. Wish I had the chance to see Elvis live. I was only 2 when he died. I'm going to do a bit more exploring on Rita Coolidge's discography. Thanks for sharing! Best, Steve
I have all 5 albums, and I agree 100%. All are great in their own right. Not sure when Rita and Kris got together, but yes she was one of the choir singers for Cocker during the Mad Dogs tour. She even did a solo of Leon Russell's Superstar, that The Carpenters had a hit with.
I’m glad to hear from you my friend. Hope all is going well for you. I knew our collections ran parallel with each other. I think rita and leon had a relationship too
Thanks, Tony! I’ve only got Supertramp. I’ll look out for the others now! I did see a bunch of Kenny (not the one you showed) during my latest dig. Should I have picked ‘em up?

Everyone in the world owns Breakfast in America. I don't have any of the others although I do have a 2 CD comp of Kenny Rogers hits. Does that count?
Later Kenny Rogers will only garner you 1/2 credit. Lol. I kinda figured Supertramps popularity. If you have it, you are ahead of the game :)
Hi Tony, Uh oh, I only have one of these, and I think you can guess which one it is 🙂
Super tramp :)
