It does work better that way. So Luke died, went to Elysium and was reincarnated into what could be counted as an entirely different pantheon, but given that it was stated in the Lightning Thief that the Underworld appeared as whatever that person believed in, that could be contested. But now that Adam's soul is in the cage, how is he ever going to get to Elysium to reincarnate again?
I think Adam could bring a lot to the show. Saving Adam could be a whole story arc in itself. I love Sam and Dean, but I think it could really be neat to see them bond with their other brother. And I seriously doubt that the name "Adam" was a coincidence. We've got the mark of Cain. Imagine the story they could create from Adam, the first man.

Adam isn't in Hell. Castiel already explained that when he explained that Jimmy is in Heaven. A soul needs a body to be tied to, Castiel burned Michael/Adam with the holy fire, bye bye body. So, if what Cas has explained is true, then Adam should have moved on when his body burned. It really should only be Michael in Hell.
weirdgirl5685 Cas exploted, so, in theory, Jimmy/Cas was dead so then the soul of Jimmy went to heaven 'cause of his death; "God" restored Cas with Jimmy's body and that's it. Adam was possesed be an Angel, he never died, he was burned but he didn't died that time; If Michael would leave Adams's body only for a second, Adam would have the oportunity to go. Until then, he have to stay in the same place that his possesed body is: The Cage.
weirdgirl5685 it's stated multiple times in the show that he is, indeed, still in the cage. Season six, Dean asks if he could rescue both Adam and Sam *from the cage.* Death says he can only pick one, proving Adam was in the cage. Season ten, one of the girls during fanfiction says "Adams still in hell. With Lucifer." And then the two boys look at each other like "oh shit we forgot him". Not to mention, but it's only logical that an archangel would bring the soul back to life after being destroyed, due to the fact that they promised paradise after the battle. Dying isn't exactly paradise.
To be fair, in Season 6 Dean did try adding Adam to his deal with Death to get Sam's soul out of the Cage . But when Death refused to rescue both souls, Dean went with it without even trying to argue. But as far as I know, that was it as far as efforts to rescue Adam went.
Well, it seems that at least Andrew Dabb did not forget Adam. Just recently he announced that Adam will be returning in the last season. I am really curious what are they gonna do with the character after 10 years in hell...
The thing we have to remember with Adam though is that Sam was the vessel of Lucifer so for that time Sam's mind and soul was being tortured in the cage by Lucifer because he basically threw himself back into the box locking Luci back up. Now Adam has the good luck that he's carrying Michael and more than likely Michael will have been protecting Adam from anything that Lucifer could have done to Adam in that time because Adam is Michael's vessel. So really Adam might not be all that messed up..and also depending on how they bring him back heaven is more on their side now (and less in a civil war) so it would be possible to maybe heal any damage done.
Adam already got resurrected once. Since he is only half Winchester he will either never come back, come back as a memory, or come back as a ghost. Only Dean, Sam, and Cas come back more than once. They're like Death's favourite that's why he allows them to come back more than once. Death secretly fancies them. Especially Dean. He is totally in love with Dean. Dean gives him food when he comes.
Yeah, I still think about that. Like, they just completely forgot Adam. They don't even mention him. Its kinda messed up since it fucked up Sam so much to be in the cage for like a year or something then Adam, who wasn't even a hunter, is probably really fucked up now. Like, are they ever gonna go save him or just leave him down there? Poor kid.

This was amazing! But, it got me thinking and I realized... Adam was dead before Michael possessed him. Remember? He and his mom were killed by ghouls who possessed their bodies right before Dean and Sam showed up. And then they killed ghoul-Adam... Using the dagger that he himself had given Annabeth as a token of their promise, Luke stabbed himself in his Achilles heel, causing his death and the destruction of Kronos once again. Luke went to Elysium, but before his life finally faded, claimed that he wanted to be reincarnated, trying to go for three great lives so that he could get into the Isle of the Blest.

It does work better that way. So Luke died, went to Elysium and was reincarnated into what could be counted as an entirely different pantheon, but given that it was stated in the Lightning Thief that the Underworld appeared as whatever that person believed in, that could be contested. But now that Adam's soul is in the cage, how is he ever going to get to Elysium to reincarnate again?

Adam isn't in Hell. Castiel already explained that when he explained that Jimmy is in Heaven. A soul needs a body to be tied to, Castiel burned Michael/Adam with the holy fire, bye bye body. So, if what Cas has explained is true, then Adam should have moved on when his body burned. It really should only be Michael in Hell.
weirdgirl5685 Cas exploted, so, in theory, Jimmy/Cas was dead so then the soul of Jimmy went to heaven 'cause of his death; "God" restored Cas with Jimmy's body and that's it. Adam was possesed be an Angel, he never died, he was burned but he didn't died that time; If Michael would leave Adams's body only for a second, Adam would have the oportunity to go. Until then, he have to stay in the same place that his possesed body is: The Cage.
In season 10 episode 5, it's stated that Adam is still trapped in the cage with lucifer

Not to mention, but it's only logical that an archangel would bring the soul back to life after being destroyed, due to the fact that they promised paradise after the battle. Dying isn't exactly paradise.

To be fair, in Season 6 Dean did try adding Adam to his deal with Death to get Sam's soul out of the Cage . But when Death refused to rescue both souls, Dean went with it without even trying to argue. But as far as I know, that was it as far as efforts to rescue Adam went.

The thing we have to remember with Adam though is that Sam was the vessel of Lucifer so for that time Sam's mind and soul was being tortured in the cage by Lucifer because he basically threw himself back into the box locking Luci back up. Now Adam has the good luck that he's carrying Michael and more than likely Michael will have been protecting Adam from anything that Lucifer could have done to Adam in that time because Adam is Michael's vessel. So really Adam might not be all that messed up..and also depending on how they bring him back heaven is more on their side now (and less in a civil war) so it would be possible to maybe heal any damage done.
Adam already got resurrected once. Since he is only half Winchester he will either never come back, come back as a memory, or come back as a ghost. Only Dean, Sam, and Cas come back more than once. They're like Death's favourite that's why he allows them to come back more than once. Death secretly fancies them. Especially Dean. He is totally in love with Dean. Dean gives him food when he comes.

This was amazing! But, it got me thinking and I realized... Adam was dead before Michael possessed him. Remember? He and his mom were killed by ghouls who possessed their bodies right before Dean and Sam showed up. And then they killed ghoul-Adam... And then somehow Michael reconstructed his body as a vessel because he was a Winchester. So, with all that, I'm not sure if Adam's soul is really in the cage or what.
+Castiel Novak Adam was in heaven, but Zachariah pulled him out and lied to him in order to get him to say yes to Michael. So yeah, Adam's soul is in the cage just like Sam's was.
