dino volla A cat chose me a few years back, she was abandoned in my friends apartment complex parking lot and was trying so hard to get into everyone’s houses. I came back a week later and she was still there and LOVED my attention. I took her home had a good 2 years with her until she eventually passed due to diabetes. It was truly one of the best decisions, even with the hardships. If a cat chooses you, never leave!
@@Kay-vz3ml I had an elderly ginger cat all scars (from fighting) and he tenderly fathered three litters in my office backyard, all with the same female cat. After I took them all away and rehomed each one of them (mum-cat included), he chose to come home with me. Unfortunately, we soon discovered that he had feline HIV and my whole family (included other 4 cats and two dogs, all rescues) did our best to make what was left of his life as comfortable and full of love as possible. He was a real gentleman of the cat world. He survived for nearly three years before passing away and we still miss him terribly. So, yes, it always is the right choice, because very few things can fill your heart and your life as much as the love of our brothers and sisters animals.

I suspect they already have a home judging by their size, fur condition and friendliness. They may be out on the street but they probably do already have an owner they go back to.
Can't pass judgement on a cat like that from one sitting.
I've known strays to be that loving at first, then super mean when you try to put them down or get them to leave your house.

I’ve had many strays approach me this easily.
Around his area, in this park many of them do. They are used to the attention and care of the people. Same way on Cat Island. ALso on a channel called "Meow Meow" you can see how friendly the strays are on the streets of Istanbul where the people also take care of them very well.

If you suspect anything fishy is going on, they may just have used the word "stray", to mean "not in its home". Which a lot of folks do.
You can check the channel and if you think dude is faking this, he either has a whole farm full of cats he cares for to use in his videos... or he just finds random cats and puts them on UA-cam.

I am a very solid cat guy, and do a lot of walking around my town. I try to communicate with every cat i encounter. There may have been about five during the past 13 years that have trusted me enough to approach me for positive interaction. If they are shy, i give them their space, but will still talk to them when i see them.
I would never try to steal somebody's cat. I wouldn't want that done to me.

I met and pet a stray cat once. It approached me cautiously and I would pet it for 3 seconds then it would show me its teeth and lightly bite me and I would stop. It would rub on my legs and wait for me to pet it again and it would repeat.
Weird that it wanted me to pet it, but then would show me its teeth and bite me gently.

Actually if you watch his other videos he goes to a park that has quite a few strays. It has cat houses and food, it looks like these strays are taken care of by the town. That's why quite a few of the strays look well fed

He looks too healthy to be a stray...and he immediately crawls up in his lap. Strays typically don't do this, they're a little more wary.
He could be abandoned and hungry, looking for a home and saw this human as worthy.

W Peters not so true. We received our latest cat somewhat the same way. Her owners mist have left her behind when they moved. She was very affectionate and we thought they same as you but everyday she was getting skinnier and skinnier. We finally gave her a forever home.

Wrong! You do not watch his videos. If you had seen the outside feeding places and the crazy amount of community cats you would know they are all well cared for stray cats. So is this one probably. They are used to tourists and people living there, petting them in the park, feeding them ... I do not think there are any real owners of cats. They are all community cats, and they are all stays of you will.

@Mr. Fahrenheit You shouldn't do that feeding other ppl cats, same applies with them, keep them inside and take care of your pets properly instead of taking the easy way out and leaving it to nature where it could suffer. This is why there is so many dead domestic cats because of owners not taking full responsibility of there pets and then some asswhole runs them over or worse your cat gets snatched and killed or kept. The outside world is for ferals only there not stupid enough to get close to humans like this one. So if you love your cat keep it inside.

It was not feral but could have been lost. One of my adopted cats was just that. She got pregnant and wondered off. I fostered 2 of her 4 kittens. Later after I adopted her they revealed that she was the mother of the two I fostered. She died recently from stomach cancer, actually euthanized. It still hurts since she was not that old yet.

I agree, its way too fat and loving to be a stray. Many people allow their pet cat or dog to go outdoors to play or do its business. This cat may have just wandered off to explore the neighborhood a bit. Hell, this cat might even belong to this guy!

向こうから寄ってくるほど人慣れしているってことは、何度も人間と接触したことがあるので、人間の体温の温かさを知っているんじゃないかという推測です。
「お、人間だ、さて温まりに行くか」と。
愛情を求めているのか、暖を求めているのかは猫のみぞ知るですね。どちらにしてもかわいいのでどっちでもいいですが。

I adopted a stray cat once. Later we found out ours was his third home. In each of his homes, people were convinced they had adopted a stray cat. Lol

All he does is rub them in public and film them and walks away.
He never takes any cats home.
Someone from this area once lectured me via comments that there are public areas where these cats are fed and taken care of and that I should not judge this man.
That he gives them affection which is nice.
I agree with that but I think its hurtful to tease an animal that believes you will take care of it , only to push the animal off of you and just walk away.

This kind of reminds me how I now have a cat. Last July I was taking a break from TV, I opened my door to go out for a minute and this cat barged in, jumped on my sofa and started watching my TV. I was surprised as living here 2 years and never before saw this cat around. Looking at him I could tell he was malnourished but had to be someone's pet. I let him visit for a while and put him back out to go home. I went to the store and got him some food thinking if he came back around I would feed him and sure enough when I got home there he was. I went through this for 6 weeks and decided to go door to door in the neighborhood trying to find his home and no one claimed him. He is such a good cat I couldn't imagine someone abandoning him. After a thorough search I decided to claim him, took him to the vet to get checked for a chip, get him a physical, shots, nail trim, teeth cleaned and shave. I was told he had been neutered and healthy. This cat greets me at the door when I enter, follows me everywhere, purrs often, very affectionate and loves playing with his toys. He's now my pampered kitty and is very loved.

@@zebraskindiva I didn't think so at first because I resisted getting attached to him, but he simply would not accept no as an answer. As it turns out, he is a Maine Coon and I did a lot of research on the breed and make sure I can accommodate his needs. I turned one of the extra bedrooms into his room equipped with tunnels, scatching posts, kitty condos and toys. He has plenty to keep him entertained. He also enjoys being taken for walks, I have a leash and harness for him and people stare in disbelief that I'm actually walking a cat.

変な人に危害を加えられる子も居るので、ある意味安心ですが、こうして安心して人に身を委ねて来る姿を見ていると、
