It's called in the Christian Bible the ability to distinguish between spirits. That spiritual gift of God would be the equivalent of a non Christian would call a heightened psychic sensitivity.

In every culture religion notwithstanding that is a common thing. Some are just spiritually more sensitive than others.Some can hear, some can see, some can feel. I can do none LOL literally 'spiritually retarded'. There really are many facets to it that then dwelves into regional culture/taboo practices/religion. That's my take on it. Very interesting I must say.

We looked at an old house from the late 1800’s in the Central Valley of CA. It was beautiful, huge, all stone, beautiful fireplace with a bread hearth, on 5 acres of land, for $80,000. That’s crazy low for CA. My husband wanted to pay cash that day! I couldn’t even finish the walk through. It just felt evil. My husband couldn’t figure out why I didn’t want the house. It was everything we were looking for. I told him if he bought it, he would live there alone. The kids and I would stay in our other house. I could never sleep there. Whatever was there followed me home.

i'm an army brat that grew up on military installations. the most haunted place i ever lived was ft. belvoir, virginia. our housing was built on top land which was known to have first been burial grounds for native americans and later named mt. vernon which was a plantation where slaves were also buried. nothing but violent/horrible paranormal activities experienced while stationed there. however, i have the utmost respect for the souls of natives and slaves whose lives were change to misery at the hands of colonists/settlers.
However here in Europe we have way older cities and no paranormal stuff like in US. Why so.

When you travel outside of your own country and forcibly disturb what doesn't belong to you that probably affects sacred land, burial sites, ceremonial property etc. Then, as strangers create havoc unnatural to what has been there for centuries it's upsetting. No one settles on other folks lands and disrespects Natives and their homeland like the Europeans.

I was in a home in Bremerton Washington working in my own Pest Control business. I had been in this home for years and one time I was in it alone; it was a small home. I was in the home about a minute treating for spiders in the basement and the doors started slamming! I was not worried and ended up having to go back 2 more times alone. I was scared for that spirit when I crammed Jesus Christ down its filthy throat before throwing it out of my presence! These shows are full of faithless people in their little costumes with the Catholic church or not.... ONE TRUE believing Christian and that spirit is TOAST!!!!
It's not that easy or straightforward. The only true church is the Roman Catholic Church.
I was raised in a Italian home with the Catholic faith. I believe their are many good people in many faiths but the Catholic Church and it’s self made up monopoly on Christ makes me want to vomit. But that is my belief, you are free to believe whatever.

Rumor has it 2 people died in the house i lived in. My parents had all sorts of paranormal stuff going on. My brother used a ouija board and the paranormal stuff got worse after he did so. Once the ouija board was thrown out paranormal stuff was still going on but not as bad as when the ouija board was used and in the house . I even saw one of the ghosts myself. In the video of the family with the 6 children, when the wife was pregnant with another baby, the wife said she had a little boy and when they got home with the baby, when all the kids came out to see the baby, the father said to them, meet your little sister! They made a big booboo in that video and probably didn't think anyone watching this would notice that, but I notice everything when I watch videos!!!!
Omg YESSS!!! I noticed that too!! It clearly said she had a son in 1967, and then when she came home from the hospital the baby was in a pink blanket and the dad said "meet your sister"!! I was looking through the comments to see if anyone else noticed this too!

We have ghosts here that whisper at night time usually around 3am I FREAKED,when I heard it one time sounded just like my mom and she wasn't even home and it sounds like kids are whispering at 3am at that time I'm up sometimes when I cant sleep but we're so used to them now it's steal kind of creepy in my book I have to be here to help my parents I thank GOD everyday now in their 70s I'm just glad to still have both of my parents I help them every day to help keep our fat cat healthy and happy and help my parenta with whatever they need help with i cant leave one day with out tellimg my mom she goes looking for me.Life is very sad it's like watching a long sad love story.😢GOD BLESS who ever takes their time to read my true story.THANK YOU

Every house has a story but so does the land it sits on, it's not only the house it could be the kand that is haunted the kand could possibly the foundation of an old homestead
I’ve experienced that very thing. Long story short, lived in a dormer built upon the site of an old dormer from 1915. Weird stuff like doors slamming that were on pneumatic hinges so it wasn’t possible to slam them. No one else on the property at that time. Didn’t help I was watching The Shining at 3 am 🤦🏼♀️

If the family tells me of the strange occurances in their home they've seen things they've heard things I would believe them of course not everybody believes in ghosts or the Paranormal I believed in that for a while all you have to do is out yourself in the place in of families and indidlviduals like what the Stallings family went through in that old house but if you just stand there inthe house you deny is haunted snd say "I don't believe in you", then it will be compelled to show you something to make you believe in it that they are real

If suicides or murders occured in a house it's possible spirits are there. I live in a big old rooming house and they just found a guy dead in his room from overdose, it's weird because he was dead for a couple days and I live on the top floor and it makes me wonder.
That sucks man. I've been there twice. Once at a friend's house one night and the other one was right before work when a neighbor had me check on someone. Unfortunately, one was a suicide.

That's a tough one, but if I had to pick it would be the one where the Demon is tormenting a little boy. It was a non human entity. I think it took place in Connecticut and all I remember is the family had a rental property with a well out back that the Demon entered this world through. The Warrens were involved. I think the little boy's name on the episode was Arnie and I believe it was his sister's boyfriend who challenged the Demon. Demon Well? That might have been the name of the episode. Ring a bell?
